Your experience is your experience. It reminded me of mine a little bit. First time I went to rikers island I was 24 but I didn't have a fight till I was 28. Maybe 30. First time I got to the bookings I was 18. One thing is I think it's might look tough but they scared too.

I was in 2 m.o. dorms 12 mod A and B in c-95 straight from bellevue. luckily I didn't get in any fights. 11 mod was the worst, at least a stabbing or cutting everyday.

In OBCC in Rikers Island all the Bloods did was jump people and poke people up. It wasn't no joke they use to call the crips crabs and any time one came in the dorm they would jump that one person. I got sucker punched by a blood kid we started fighting immediately and I slammed him and he ran to the Officer. Made it wild hot, the kid turned around lied and told on me. They packed him up when he came back saw him in medical looking crazy.
