Arsenal, like City, hasn't lost a game this season. But Arsenal, unlike City, has dropped points only when the games were changed in favour of their opponents through red cards given to Arsenal players in controversial circumstances.

PGMOL are corrupt. Michael Oliver has been paid £20,000 to referee games for City's owners in the Middle East. Is that not a massive conflict of interest? Delaying restarts is a big contribution to so much stoppage time being added, that is an easy thing to enforce and relieve the pressure on VAR checks. The difference between Doku earlier and Trossard is that Doku kicked the ball back in the direction the Michael Oliver directed the free kick was to be taken from, whereas Trossard had his back to the referee, heard the whistle go and just put his foot through it.

EPL is pressing the self-destruction button. More people are questioning the credibility of this league. I used to think the hate on Arsenal was overstated. However, in the last 2 years, i am beginning to believe they are targeted by the Refs or whoever runs the league.
Arsenal are a good team and my favs to win it this year, but City have been awesome the last 4 years. I am a Liverpool fan and City have deserved at least ON THE PITCH their victories.
Bahahah wonder who you support. Give over will ye. Every team can point at moments throughout the season where they feel hard done by. I support neither of these teams but seriously ??🤔
Its not just Arsenal. Its on Arsenal AND Liverpool. Michael Oliver has been consistantly making dodgy decisions that disadvantage Arsenal AND Liverpool and favour Man City for years. Outside of that, its just general inconsistancy, some go for you some go again and theres a confirmation bias where you remember that ones that go against and remember the ones for. Most of the refs are just bad. Oliver is very, very clearly corrupt. Sure it has nothing to do with the money he gets from the UAE though.
The utter disappointment of Neville and Carragher when Arsenal take the lead was palpable on commentary. You can tell in this interview they want to skew the narrative in the direction that the late goal will somehow be decisive. Absolute nonsense, even with the ref (as usual) on their side City just about scraped a draw. This game will be massive for galvanising Arsenal.
Carra didn't say a single word when Arsenal scored, twice. He screamed with joy when they scored the last minute equalize. Claims to be impartial. Geeza is a scouse clown.
There is no consistency, there is constant hypocrisy. Both from pundits and referees. That is why there is animosity more than ever. And as long as animosity sells games, we will never see change from either.
Dissolve the PGMOL. Put the referees back under the control of the FA so there is a direct line of accountability. The premier league has the worst standard of refereeing amongst all of the big leagues by a significant margin.

Arsenal fan. If we go by the letter of the law, Trossard should've been booked and sent off. I do think, however, we should look at the context of the situation - he's already made the decision to play a pass (glances left to see Martinelli) before the whistle goes. When the whistle does go he's already made the decision in his head and is in the motion of going to play the pass. I do also think we shouldn't be giving second yellows for contentious moments like that where it's obviously not clear he's purposefully wasting time. That's my own input and not the law, of course. On the inconsistency - Doku should get a yellow. Michael Oliver points for the ball to be returned to where Rice is (confirmed by the fact he's happy for Rice to take it from where he does). Doku clearly plays the ball a good 10 yards from there and the ball needs to be passed back forward again to Rice before it's taken
That same referee whom officiated between Arsenal and Manchester City also officiated between Chelsea and the same Manchester City continued with taking sides. I think he is working for Manchester City secretly and he should be stopped from officiating any matches involving any team with Manchester City anymore.
It's not a secret or a conspiracy. It's well known that Michael Oliver, along with a lot of the other referees in this league, are all get paid big money for working over in the UAE.

John Stone's goal could be decisive... essentially swung the points difference by 3. However good Arsenal defended, they still conceded and lost the 2nd half 1-0. Could easily be the difference between the teams in May.
People are misremembering these “tight margins against City” …. That was Liverpool who dealt with such tight margins, it was Liverpool who came within 1 point from winning the league two separate seasons (18/19 and 21/22) against City. Arsenal have only come within 3 points one season, the first season they collapsed in April and City walked the title home with a nearly 10 point gap. Arsenal are simply not close enough to City to even be in the “will these tight margins cost them the league?” This far out, maybe in February if Arsenal are within a point of City we can look back and talk about this match but as of now Arsenal have no track record of losing to City by tight margins

I get Neville's point about the sending off but I as an Arsenal fan just can’t look over the fact that "restart delays" happen multiple times each game but only 2 players got booked so far (in 50 games).
That's the biggest problem mate. Trossard was very stupid to kick it away and I have no sympathy for him, but there's no way the ref would give a second yellow to Bernardo Silva in that same situation. The day after Rice got sent off a Man Utd player threw the ball away to stop a quick restart and nothing happened. I've seen 4/5 other players do the same thing this season and I don't even watch that much football.
You sound confused. There is only one story: Man City struggled to rescue a point against a 10-man team at their own home. 2 valuable points for Arsenal in the title race. Referee managed to make his pettiness what was shaping up to be a fantastic game to watch (again).
It was a great game and the match that this rivalry needed, a bit of quality and needle. Calafiori is going to be a real asset for Arsenal and I don't think it's realised how good his goal was. I really think that Arsenal needed to beat them today, especially without having Rodri or De Bruyne on the pitch...Even if it was just to get the psychological edge over City. It also would have immediately nulled City's chanced of winning the League unbeaten - which is the one thing that City haven't accomplished. Arsenal defended more or less immaculately, tied down City at set-pieces and deserved the win but nobody will remember that. They should have gone for the third goal and they probably would have got it because they had City on the ropes at times. They have to beat then at the Emirates to win the League.
City won the league without beating Arsenal once last season, I don't REALLY think Arsenal needs to beat them at the Emirates, although it would be good. Arsenal just needs to not draw/lose to inferior teams like they did last season because they're unbeaten vs the big 6

Over the past five seasons, it seems like they often get extra time when needed, while opposition teams get punished with cards for minor fouls. Meanwhile, City players seem to avoid bookings, even in situations where a red card could be warranted.
Swear if Timber cld have seen the match out , we win that . Grealish and Doku did nothing against Timber, but Grealish before he won the corner , wasn’t scared to take on White and see if he cld do anything, he did , winning a corner. But we won morally anyway , proud of the team, jarring through how Doku had no punishment a few minutes before Trossard, just can’t see that ever being justified.
Carragher this was City v Arsenal wtf has it got to do with John Stones goaline clearance v Liverpool ? Whatever the setting you always have to involve Liverpool
As an Arsenal fan, here’s my unbiased take on some key moments. - Doku should be booked for delaying the restart* *I believe he doesn’t get booked as Oliver wanted the free kick moved back around 10/15 years and poorly communicated that on the pitch. - Trossard only has himself to blame and in my opinion, he lets the team down today. Reckless and sloppy in the first half to get booked and on a yellow, you CANNOT give the ref a decision to make. The challenge on Silva wasn’t given as a yellow… but it could’ve been! Stupid. He needs to be smarter. - City were incredibly poor in the second half and got very lucky with the deflected goal. - We defended amazingly well but switched off for the corner. Overall, it feels like a loss. I think our only chance to win the league this season is to beat City twice. Let’s see how things play out. January transfer window the board need to back Arteta. We need a striker and a backup for Martin.
Jumping on Raya to waste time tbh. Great point. Taken pointvat start. Taken point after sending off, but thatcwas a cruel tired switch off for sucker goal. City rely on set pieces against good sides lol.
@emperorlordkhalid9227 it should be celebrated by anyone, apparently. Arsenal have celebrated winners (liverpool) and got told we "over celebrated" ...the principle works both ways.
Doku did not kick the ball ‘away’ he passed it back to where the free kick was meant to be taken. If only someone had done that for the first arsenal goal. Free kick was taken well ahead of where it should have been taken. Same old arsenal, always cheating. The ref also bottled it by allowing the quick free kick when walker was out of position.
Peps answer should have been: - Kovacic should have been sub'd at 50 mins for Foden floating. - Gundo should have been moved inside the box. - Haaland at the edge of the box or outside to shoot long range. - Stones for Dias much earlier. - Shooters from outside or the edge of the box should have been Foden, Haaland, Walker and Gravrdiol.
I feel for Arsenal fans and the team they were so unlucky not to get all 3 points and how they actually played for 8 added minutes instead of 7 the ref are not being considerate at all

@@kaysheye7784 Yes I know that but Arsenal are still the challengers and I think needed to beat the Champions. Not just "not lose".
@@georgef822 and if Arsenal did win the narrative would have been exactly that, they won against city without Rodri and debruyne, disregard odegaard wasn’t there
I’m must be a deluded gooner because that feels like a big point to me
Same here. Was shitting myself when we went down to 10 men. It comes from so many horrible results against City in the past.
Would've been delighted with a draw at half time, but was devastated with one at full time. Overall it's a really good result for us but it still hurts to concede right at the end like that.
@@akari2378 The timing of the equaliser was a kick in the gut. We were so near a momentous win. Hopefully, we haven't picked any more injuries. I was concerned when both Timber and Calafiori went off. With luck they were simply fatigued.
@@HerFatherDidntLikeMe Definitely a concern mate. Playing Thursday night in Italy then having a game as intense as this two days later is tough. Need to see a lot of changes for Bolton to give these guys a rest.
One rule for Arsenal and one rule for all the other clubs
The problem is consistency. Arsenal's players get booked for kicking the ball away but City's players don't. It doesn't make sense.
Shame that Michael Oliver had to ruin such a good game by giving that red. A bit of common sense and better game management is needed from the refs
His common sense only comes into play when its a City player making multiple leg breaking tackles
It feels like in recent years, Manchester City has been getting favorable treatment in the league. Over the past five seasons, it seems like they often get extra time when needed, while opposition teams get punished with cards for minor fouls. Meanwhile, City players seem to avoid bookings, even in situations where a red card could be warranted.
Or trossard could use common sense and not boot the ball 30 yards away after the whistle went. Moron
@@gopibiju8756 Their owners put the refs on private jets for a payed vacation. What did you expect?
Shame that Arsenal players can't stop kicking the ball away 🤣
Swear if Timber cld have seen the match out , we win that . Grealish and Doku did nothing against Timber, but Grealish before he won the corner , wasn’t scared to take on White and see if he cld do anything, he did , winning a corner.
But we won morally anyway , proud of the team, jarring through how Doku had no punishment a few minutes before Trossard, just can’t see that ever being justified.
Kicked it to where it should've been taken from you victim
Carragher this was City v Arsenal wtf has it got to do with John Stones goaline clearance v Liverpool ? Whatever the setting you always have to involve Liverpool
As an Arsenal fan, here’s my unbiased take on some key moments.
- Doku should be booked for delaying the restart*
*I believe he doesn’t get booked as Oliver wanted the free kick moved back around 10/15 years and poorly communicated that on the pitch.
City celebrating a draw. Playing at home against 10 men for near 60 minutes. O the irony.
Last min equaliser? Shouldn't be celebrated according to you...
@emperorlordkhalid9227 it should be celebrated by anyone, apparently.
Arsenal have celebrated winners (liverpool) and got told we "over celebrated"
...the principle works both ways.
Grealish did class for goal
Gary on the gary
Doku did not kick the ball ‘away’ he passed it back to where the free kick was meant to be taken. If only someone had done that for the first arsenal goal. Free kick was taken well ahead of where it should have been taken. Same old arsenal, always cheating. The ref also bottled it by allowing the quick free kick when walker was out of position.
Peps answer should have been:
- Kovacic should have been sub'd at 50 mins for Foden floating.
- Gundo should have been moved inside the box.
- Haaland at the edge of the box or outside to shoot long range.
- Stones for Dias much earlier.
- Shooters from outside or the edge of the box should have been Foden, Haaland, Walker and Gravrdiol.
I feel for Arsenal fans and the team they were so unlucky not to get all 3 points and how they actually played for 8 added minutes instead of 7 the ref are not being considerate at all
Ref added 7 mins, then added another 2 on cause Arsenal players were rolling around - claiming cramp- so in the end it’s the Arsenal players own faults.
@@danshaw3527 City drew at home vs 10 men Arsenal. It’s their own fault they didn’t win.
@@realist1641 well yeah pretty obvious that one mate
Who thinks Jamie prefers the CBS crew or the Sky crew😂?
CBS does clear sky
So what your saying is the season is over, so what do we do for the next 33 games
The days of players rivalries like the old UTD vs gunners will never happen again, they are all connected on social media nowadays
