Creo que si ejecutas como administrador con el boton derecho el script, no necesitas hacer una copia a otro directorio y te lo salva directamente. ¿Lo has probado?

Is this script work only on Photoshop 2021, 2020 or on 2019, 2017, 2015?
Can you change the transparency of the drop down menus in the main File/Edit/etc.. menus by doing this? Or perhaps the roundness of the boxes themselves? I have been watching the Photoshop Virtual summit (2023) and I have seen less opaque drop down menus in Lisa Carney's masking class and was wondering how to do that as well..
Different operating systems have differences in opacity. At least from Photoshop you can't. 🙁

Unfortunately no.
1:15 You can also press Ctrl+Shift+F1 and Ctrl+Shift+F2 without having to go into the menu to cycle between those preset shades. I figured that one out by mistake when trying to apply an action that didn't exist! 😂

I've noticed that Adobe changes some of my custom settings each time that they update. I wonder if this will carryover after an update?
If the file is overwritten by an update then it will not.

with the CS6 version the colors are in another format
[ 0x0000, 0x8080, 0xFFFF, 1.0 ]
i did change it to my favourite color
now i will try the script and see if it works for older versions of photoshop
PS: it doesn't work so you have to do it manually
when I came to save it, it didn't save it with the original file it tells me to save it in a new copy, you have a solution
The Required folder nor the UIColors.txt is nowhere to be found on my Mac :(
open application folder, and go to photoshop folder that U have. and, right click onto photoshop.app and go to show package contains menu. after that, go to Required folder and find uicolors.txt
Try Right Clicking on the Photoshop.app and choosing "Show Package Contents"
