How to Change UI Colors in Photoshop | Make EPIC Photoshop Interface Colors!

- In this video, I'll show you how to change UI colors in Photoshop, and make epic Photoshop interface colors!
It has been now quite sometime that I have been searching for how to change user interface colors in Photoshop, and I found this awesome thread in Reddit - / how_to_get_different_c...

1.
Go to your Photoshop installation folder.
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 202x\Required" (for Windows)
"~/Adobe Photoshop 202x.app/Contents/Required" (for Mac)
or, wherever your installation folder is.
2.
Find the "UIColors.txt" file and create a backup of it.
3.
Search "rgb color picker" in Google and select your favorite color.
Preferably, choose a darker shade to go with all themes and texts.
Copy the RGB color code [RRR, GGG, BBB]
4.
Place it in a temporary text file and add the fourth opacity parameter:
[RRR, GGG, BBB, 1.0]
5.
Then open "UIColors.txt" file, and look for the below attributes.
WidgetButtonStroke = Widget buttons outline
WidgetButtonFillPressed = Selected widget buttons
WidgetPillStrokeFocused = Widget buttons outline on hovering
WidgetScrollbarArrows = Small arrows in the corner of the scrollbars
WidgetScrollbarElevatorFill = All Scrollbar
RulerText = Numbers on the ruler
ScrollingListSelectedDefault = Selected layers

Replace the color values in the grid with the value you created in STEP: 4.
Make sure you are replacing color values for all four themes, or at least for the theme you are using.
From top to bottom row, the four rows represent the PS themes as - Light Gray, Medium Gray, Dark Gray, Very Dark Gray.
7.
Save the file.
If it required admin access, and gives you any such prompt, provide permission and save it.
8.
Restart Photoshop for the changes to take effect.

If you are facing issues locating the file in Mac, kindly try searching it under "Contents > Required > UIColors.txt". You can also refer to this image - bit.ly/mac_location
man how do i apply the resources in the file?
@@LuSlY_ If you are having permission issues, try this - rename one of the files I provided to "UIColors" and copy paste and replace at the location mentioned in the video. It should work.

So so thankx for giving this awesome information... I always thought 😂it's because of their paid photoshop.. They have.. Themes option 😂.. And show me awesome way... This means we can chance any Adobe software theme if it have same . Txt file

i downloaded the files in the drive and replaced it with the original ui colours but it didnt work
I believe you renamed my file with "UIColors" before you replaced. Also could you please try restarting Photoshop?

At the end while i was saving the notepad it was showing that i cant save it(i have to ask the owner) something of that sort.

You can save it somewhere else and then copy paste and replace it at the correct location...

Which TWO attributes needs to be customized? Pls help!
Hi there! Are you looking forward to customizing the top menus like "File", "Edit", "Image" etc.? If so, I don't think they can be customized with this method. They are more at a window level and I didn't find any option here sadly...

Bro,everything is done ,except the layer selected color is not changing,it is same to default.

@@Encreate srry bro for trouble, now it's done. Previously I was renaming your file to UIColor.txt that's why it was not working but after renaming it to UIColors, it worked👍
