Best Food near LAX Airport - In-N-Out Burger

- Skip the overpriced and mediocre food inside LAX Airport and stop by In-N-Out Burger for some delicious and cheap burgers. Eating at In-N-Out Burger at LAX is sort of a ritual for me. A tasty Double Double is almost always my last meal in LA before departing on a flight, and it's always my first meal back. If you have a long layover at LAX, it is possible to walk here. The walk takes about 30 minutes each way. I usually park at the Parking Spot Parking structure next door to In-N-Out Burger so it is super convenient to then hop their shuttle to the airport.
In NYC I've had Shake Shack many many times but have always wanted to try an IN N OUT Burger!

I’ll be arriving at LAX on Friday, May 30, after 30 of eating Thai food. I have plenty of time, arriving at 8:30 PM and leaving at 6:30 AM the next day on Southwest. If I could figure out what to do with my 3 pieces of luggage and a backpack while walking to it, I would be set
Eating at an In-N-Out Burger was one thing I wish I would have done when I went to San Francisco last year around the 4th of July. I'll definitely need to eat at one the next time I visit California as those Double Doubles look tasty!
+Scottman895 Travel Their Double Doubles are most delicious! Pick up a t-shirt while you're there.. each State they are in has different t-shirts. If you head to Las Vegas any time in the near future they have a location "near" the strip
Haha im from canada , and i have a 2 hour layover at LAX on my way to MIA , will i be able too get a bite ?

My favorite In n Out location in the world. Forget the double double. Go for the 4x4

My favorite burger place in the world hopefully we will get a burger chain in Florida just like smash burger did.
I live near the "back" of LAX in Playa Del Rey (the condo building I live in has great views of the takeoffs). I go here all the time. It's been written up in some Asian publications and it's common to see a lot of long-haul travelers (mainly Asian) in there, getting their first American cultural experience. By the way, I am checking into the Courtyard Hotel in Stockholm today based on your recommendation (I'm in Copenhagen right now, and taking the train to Stockholm n a few hours).

I read an interview with CL of 2NE1 and she said "the first thing we do after we land at LAX is go to In-N-Out Burger" So every time I go in there I think I might see some K-Pop star like 2NE1 or Girls' Generation. Of course if I actually did I would probably have a heart attack LOL

Sorry for the delay. Actually the best plane spotting is during the rare occasions (maybe 10 times a year) when they turn the landings around and they land from over the ocean. If you are standing on the beach you can get an experience ALMOST as good as St. Maarten when the heavies come in for a landing. However, the reason they turn the landings around is almost always because of bad weather, so you may get great views but it will probably be raining at the same time. :-(
If I'm ever up to LAX and it's raining, I'll check it out :). I had lunch in your neck of the woods the other day after I landed in LAX -- I had pizza at The Good Pizza on Manchester
