A quick tip for bypassing a lot of the traffic, Universal Studios connects to LAS metro rail, specifically the Red Line, with a shuttle taking you right to the entrance. It's an open secret among locals to park their cars near a stop and just use the train as a two-stage shuttle. Total cost of parking is a bit cheaper, you don't have to climb the hill from a bad parking spot, and depending on where you're coming from you can skip a huge chunk of LA traffic.
I went there today. its was pretty okay, but i think children enjoy it more than adults do, atleast for me. I tought there would be movie sets and behind the scenes stuff, and like some cool movie history and props. It felt more like a amusement park for kids.
We just got back today. 7/21/19 yes it was busy...... but with Express pass or v.i.p. it's no problem at all at most 20 minute wait. Do not go with out express passes! I repeat do not go with out Express passes. Otherwise up to 4 hour waits. No joke. Harry Potter ride shortcut is legit. And dont skip waterworld show! Best ride mummy returns. The video def made my experience better.
You are right the studio tour ride is a must do thing if that's the only thing to do in the Universal Studios I mean that's the ORIGINAL ONE & ONLY Universal Studios offering visitors this experience. I've done it 2 times and I will do it the 3rd time next year.
I love your videos and I really appreciate your work! we're traveling to the US for the first time from Israel this April, and you really help us plan our trip in advance! Thank you
So pretty much buy your tickets online or buy the express tickets so you don’t have to wait in line, bring snacks to avoid the expensive restaurants, take the train (depending on how far you’re hotel is), and take lots of pictures 🤷🏽♂️.
I used to live in San Diego and went to Disneyland and Six Flags Magic Mountain, but never to Universal Studios. I think I missed out! I'll have to swing by on my next trip to Los Angeles. Thanks for your informative videos!
YES!!! Love when you make vids about things to do and think about when on the west cost! Im going this summer! Cant wait! Thank you for the information!
I go during the summer and the single ride line is great. Going on the studio tour fist is the best thing to do. I take the subway both ways and save money.
For the studio tour if you don’t mind listening to it in Spanish ask at the front of the line what time the Spanish tour will start. I waited 30 min instead of 2 hours for the English. Helps that I speak Spanish but if I didn’t I would at least still get to see everything and not wait hours for the tour lol.
I'm going to Universal for my LA trip this summer, and I was wondering: Do you pay the admission fee and then you can just hop on any ride, or does the rides cost extra?
Thanks for all of the tips I will be going to California for a winter trip with friends and we are going to Disneyland universal Hollywood six flags museums like LACMA Santa Monica etc. We are getting an LA pass.
Good tips. It’s true tickets are more expensive during the summer time, but due to higher volume of attendance, if you’re a big Harry Potter fan, it can enhance your experience being able to see the light show on the Hogwarts castle. There’s also Grinchmas, which is awesome. They have also had the special light show winter version projected on the hogwarts castle (which is longer and more fascinating). Studio tours is definitely worth riding. And if you ever think about getting VIP experience, it’s really cool because you can walk around for portions of the studio tour.
i went when i was younger, and my best memory was getting to the park right when it opened and being able to ride the jurrasic park ride 3 times in a row with no line
You may not see this comment, but I just want to say that this is the first video I watch from you and just want to say you have great charisma and great tips! keep doing what you're doing.
I love your channel!! Everywhere I wanna go you help me. You really gave me some great tips and places to see in Oahu. We had a blast!!! Universal coming up.
Thank you for the tips. I'm planning to go with my wife and 10 years old daughter in August. Although is going to be crowded as you stated but your advice before going are appreciated. We'll be traveling from Massachusetts
Most rides would have a spot you can put your small purse in on the actual ride itself. You can certainly bring your GoPro in the park.. might not be able to bring it on the ride though
@@YellowProductionsyes we went for one very important reason,at least in my daughter's eyes, she went to meet KITT' the talking car from the TV show Knight Rider hoping to meet David Hasselhoff as well.Sadly she never met David but did manage to sit in KITT and have a conversation with him.He was positioned over the water on a special platform at the time.
New mexican suscriber over here, Great video, im going to universal Hollywood for the first time this year, and already taking notes to enjoy it, thanks a lot for the tips
@@YellowProductions thank you for the response it's so helpful to know these things..taking my 2yearold to Cali in Nov and just trying to find some of the best things to do with him in San Diego and LA Area
Hi there was wondering if you know if the Park has access for wheelchairs? Can a disabled person get to the lower part of the Park. Also my brother is blind are there any things the Park can do to help him?
Hi Max: I'd say the highlights are the studio tour, the three shows, the Harry Potter ride in the castle, and if you don't mind getting wet the Jurassic Park ride.
I think I should not tell my parents about the 6 minute escalators. Can’t wait for her reaction when she finds out there’s a 6 minute stand still to the Walking Dead attraction.
Hi, where is the lower parking lot? Is it somewhere before entering the gates (1,2,3) or inside? Is that a good place to park the car when we want to see Harry Potter first? Thanks
For the Harry Potter ride, do you have to consider if you're a bit bigger? I remember that in FL they made me get off the line to sit in the model seat to make sure I fit.
Which rides are good for those that dont like scary rides or heights? Thanks in advance. Also where is a good place to stay near here and to the hollywood area
The Studio Tour and the shows are best if you don't like thrilling things. All the rest of the rides are pretty much thrill rides. There are a couple hotels at Universal Studios. There's also some on Hollywood Blvd. The W Hotel comes to mind
Which part of september? Weekday or weekend? If it's a weekday then the express ticket probably isn't worth it. If it's a holiday weekend then it's worth it!
Interested in going to Disneyland too? Watch my "10 Things To Know Before You Go To Disneyland" video: ua-cam.com/video/N8YNQctMZ_A/v-deo.html
Hi. Does one of the lots open an hour later sometimes? The lower one? Thanks.
Yes... the lower one does open an hour later sometimes
For the Harry potter ride, go in thru the gift shop
Good tip!
Yeah you can basically cut the line lol I did that before
Haha wow that was crazy

Hah! The panda is scary!
So true lol
Loved the VIP ticket option, but being from the UK it means the exchange rate for prices better. Worth every penny we thought
Good to hear!
We are going august 6 th and also have the VIP package .
Do you reckon CityWalk could take an entire day?
CityWalk (the shopping mall part) is worth about an hour or 2. Not all day.
I went there today. its was pretty okay, but i think children enjoy it more than adults do, atleast for me. I tought there would be movie sets and behind the scenes stuff, and like some cool movie history and props. It felt more like a amusement park for kids.
I’m going tomorrow so this is very helpful 😁

Do they have fast passes or max passes like Disneyland
Do you know if I can rent a scooter...I had surgery and can walk well
Strollers, wheelchairs, and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs)are available for rent just inside the park across from the Universal Studios Store.
Are the express ticket package worth it for universal hollywood?
we would go on january 02 is it full?
Hi, is there free wifi internet connection into the park?
thanks, we are heading to LA in may to do Disney and Univeral.
Enjoy David!

Hello
I am coming from Yaxed first time
Do u have Minion & sharek rides ?
I have little kids they like that one in Orlando
If you buy tickets online, do they have to be printed or can they be scanned on the app?
We stayed at the Hilton hotel by the park, and they had shuttles to the park, but it was only like a 5 minute walk to the park.
Great tips. I had forgotten about advanced tickets b
I Was Raised Going To Universal Studios Hollywood ,

Is there any hotels across the street walking distance like Disneyland has?
Yeah. There's 2. The Hilton Universal and the Sheraton Universal
Do they check EVERYONE'S ID?

When was the fire stunt added to the show? The last I went the astronaut switch stunt was still there.
I don't know when it was added.. by the fire stunt was in the show a few months ago when I shot this video

We did the studio tour in June 1996,brilliant in our eyes.We visited Universal City Walk were we got our food and drinks while there.
Awesome Brian!

Wow I bet this would be a good park to go to in the summer!!
Im going there in a day i already live in LA. But ehhhh do the tickets online like take a long time or some shizz

Umm.. not sure what you mean

Thanks Grishio!
Jurassic park ride is closed :(
ticket wise if your going more than once (this might be good for once idk) get the season passes they are cheaper
Thanks for the tip on the season pass :)
Is this park good for little kids like 2-4yrs..or is it better for 10+/teens/adults ?
Better for teens and adults
@@YellowProductions thank you for the response it's so helpful to know these things..taking my 2yearold to Cali in Nov and just trying to find some of the best things to do with him in San Diego and LA Area
I have a question is it possible to go everywhere in 1 day
Depends how busy the park is.. on the busiest days you might need a day and a half. On slow days you can do it all in 1 day
what months in america is summer time?im from australia and hoping 2 layby a trip 2 go 1 day ;)
Summer in the US is June-August
Thanks I just bought a season ticket and going tomorrow
Cool! Have fun tomorrow!
Hi there was wondering if you know if the Park has access for wheelchairs? Can a disabled person get to the lower part of the Park. Also my brother is blind are there any things the Park can do to help him?
Hi Terry! I would imagine there's a way for wheelchairs to get down to the lower park.. I'd suggest calling the park and asking.
Loving your vids. We are booked to go to the US in a week so watching these are the next best thing to being there now!
Awesomeness. Thanks Chris!
I was there last week😍 we loved it, Best vacation ever👍🏼😘
Sweet Michelle!
I'll be going there at the end of April for one day, any suggestions on how to fit the most in? What to see and what to skip.
Hi Max: I'd say the highlights are the studio tour, the three shows, the Harry Potter ride in the castle, and if you don't mind getting wet the Jurassic Park ride.
whats better to go see? paramount? Warner bros or Universal or sony! ??????????????????
I think I should not tell my parents about the 6 minute escalators. Can’t wait for her reaction when she finds out there’s a 6 minute stand still to the Walking Dead attraction.
You can walk down the stairs and get some exercise! :)
Thank you!!!! Me and my best friend are going in 3 weeks, so exited!! We are very short people tho lol. 4/11 and 4/4
Anyone know what it would cost in October? And if you get tickets online from NOT the park, any sites to do that on?
AAA sells tickets online for Universal
I’m going next Friday and I’m excited
Have fun!
Hi, where is the lower parking lot? Is it somewhere before entering the gates (1,2,3) or inside? Is that a good place to park the car when we want to see Harry Potter first? Thanks
The "Lower Lot" isn't actually a parking lot... That's the term for the lower part of the theme park. As in "movie lot"
For the Harry Potter ride, do you have to consider if you're a bit bigger? I remember that in FL they made me get off the line to sit in the model seat to make sure I fit.
The little panda is so cute and I also have one from the San Diego Zoo and I bet they would be great buddies 😸
Awwww.. I bet they would!
Is the price worth the experience??
I think so
i think the lower lot is open a bit later than the main level
But a go Los Angeles card if you’re planning to do other attractions around LA. You only get Universal included in the ones that are 3 days and over.
I’m going in a few days.... can’t wait!
Have fun!
4lb3rt0_m3z4 Same
Im going 2mow any rides or thing i should do 1st
Harry Potter ride when the line is short.. or last thing of the day
Hi! I’m going next week, Do i have to buy an Extra ticket for the studio tour?
Nope.. studio tour is included in admission. You've just got to line up for it once inside
can someone tell me if universal studios is a two day thing or a one day thing?

Because it isn't as busy as Disneyland
