How does a song have two legendary riffs?? Two legendary words: Randy Rhoads.
The intro is bass
@LiiP Daisley and Kerslake dominate as the Power Plant on this just as they did for Uriah Heep.
I think Randy is doing all the riffs by himself isnt he? Is there another guitarist?
@@brianchampney7077 No Randy is the only guitar player
Amen to that! "Maestro" & "Virtuoso" definitely equal Randy Rhodes.
Randy Rhodes is one of the best guitar. Player you'll ever hear. Sadly he died in a plane crash in the early 80s.
He is the best guitar player to have ever lived. I respect him greatly and am influenced by his playing. Also helped start the Jackson Rhoads series which are the best guitars ever and I have one. (I know it was originally the concord but he didn't like it so then he got the black Jackson Rhoads.
Randy is the best guitarist ever hands down
He has had a number of great young players. Zak Wylde was 19 when he joined him. Randy Rhoads was 23 and just left Quiet Riot.
@@ell04ver15 I'm sorry but I have to add Steve Clark and Eric Clapton to that list.
Forgive my stupidity, please... I'm older...who is the Mayfield Four?
Such a beautiful moment... seeing a young person wearing a Queen shirt and rockin’ out to Ozzy and Randy! ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful!!! 💘
Rarely you see young people vibing to some classics...
It really is wholesome 😇
A smart and open minded young person. I like him and I’m a geezer

I've finally been looking deeper into these, yall old people got any more obscure songs ya liked?

"Maybe, it's not too late, to learn how to love and forget how to hate"
Best lyrics ever. ❤️
Right you are Susan❣
Ill tattoo that quote next month.
Or perhaps for these days " the media sells it, and you live the role".
Too bad Ozzy only wrote four words in his entire career and stole everything from everybody that he worked with or should I say who worked with him
@@cankss6893 I don't give a shit who wrote the lyrics, it's still a great lyric and a great song.
Randy Rhoads was a legendary guitarist but he died really young, he only could record 2 albums with Ozzy.
You should react to MR. Crowley next, it will blow your mind. Top 10 solos of all time no cap.
NO CAP...NONE AT ALL!
Or Dee
Totally check out mr. Crowley
@@andrewwindjack1252 Beautiful song, just short
I'd say the live version of Crowley from Tribute where the guitar solo gets to play out.
The song isn't necessarily about him losing sanity, it's more about humanity going mad during the events of the Cold War. He speaks of all of us losing our sanity vicariously through the media.
Interesting, i thought is was talking about the political shenanigans of late....
@@insideoutsideupsidedown2218 "Of Late", if you mean as in recently, no because this came out in 1980.
"...to learn how to love.... and forget how to hate...."
Excellent.
Song is very applicable to our current times
Truth. Grew up in Germany in the 80’s during the Cold War and I understood every word he said.
I heard an interview with Max Norman, who engineered the two Ozzy albums that had Randy Rhoads on the guitar, and he was astonished that Randy would triple track his leads. He said he would be amazed at the complex, yet musical leads that Randy would lay down on the first track of a song, and then be blown away when Randy would say "OK, lets do it again", and Max would be like "do what again?" lol, because there was no way anyone could recreate what he just heard. Then Randy would proceed to lay down the same exact, note for note complex lead on top of the 1st one.....and then do it again!!! lol. One of the best guitar players to ever walk the face of the planet. Of course this is all subjective, but to me, he is right up there with Jimmy Page, Les Paul, and Django Reinhardt! RIP Randy Rhoads.
He has a Queen shirt on! It's official! He's converted to ROCK!! OwO
I know a lit of rock fans who also appreciate rap, and a lot of rap fans who appreciate rock... and some bands that meld t we two. Remember Aerosmith collaboration with Run DMC on their Walj This Way song?

When you did Iron Man and Paranoid, I knew it wouldn't be long before Crazy Train made an appearance.
So glad you are a metal head. Welcome to the club.
ABSOLUTELY. I think it's great that there are channels out there doing this bc there is just a plethora of awesome music regardless of genre that people rarely get exposed to unless someone introduces them to it n that's exactly what these channels are doing.
I don’t get people who call this classic rock it’s metal
@@jackrussell1601 agree. The only way it could fall into classic rock genre is by its release time. If it fell between what I think of 1960 thru the 1970s. Now I'm by however if u look at classic rock being music that was released 20 years ago that would classify music of the 80s n 90s as classic rock
@@gothgirl4evr881 i agree with the latter definition (unfortunately - it hurts to call the music from my teen years "classic rock". Pretty soon, it won't be retro or classic... It'll just be called "oldies". Yuck!)
@@jcb3393 please dont say that lol. My head may agree begrudingly but my heart wont accept it.
I watched a video of Ozzy listening to some of Randy's tracks that weren't released and had never heard before, it was weird to see Ozzy cry and you could really see he still misses Randy.
Ozzy loved Randy like a little brother. You can see it in all the old photos of the two of them.
Is that when he was with his son Jack and listened together??? Seen that and was emotional for Ozzy!
Yes, on the show where Jack his son took him to listen to the masters where he knew it was Randy playing
I do too

"If we learn how to love, and forget how to hate." Words to live by.
Words to live by, yet the world isn’t perfect like that. There are still places you can’t go without some kind of weapon to defend yourself. Those with large amounts of greed, vanity, and envy, are the most dangerous people out there, that will not think twice about hurting or killing you for sport.
The guitar player died young but was also one of the founding members of Quiet Riot.
A lot of people don’t know this . You sir know your rock .

The best song of quiet riot is for sure cum on the feel noize
Randy Rhodes is one of the greatest guitar players ever. He was classically trained and took that discipline and applied it to heavy metal. The result was Rhodes influenced so many metal and hard rock guitarists to be "shredders', playing complex solos fast and tight. Rhodes actually helped Ozzy write the songs for Ozzy's first two solo albums after he left Black Sabbath. It was a plane crash that tragically cut this gifted guitar player's life so tragically short. Great reaction, great song!!!!
AMEN
One of the greatest messages in song! We should all listen to his words. This was written in the 70s and it's still so pertinent and IMPORTANT today. Especially in America. We need to find a balance, respect duality, and heal each other's mental wounds.
When Randy died, it devastated Ozzy. We lost an amazing musician, and this song is iconic, and Randy Rhodes legacy.
Ozzy made a song about Randy unsurprisingly
OMG!! I Almost died of laughter!! "This is on Guitar Hero!" HAHAHAHAHA You are SO young bro!! Also, hats off to the makers of Guitar Hero for exposing these kids to REAL music which use ACTUAL instruments to create music and require TALENT and EFFORT to produce REAL music!!!
Yeah that was my takeaway from the guitar hero games too, introducing an entire generation to legendary songs
Reminds me when I would play GTA Vice City when I was on a ship in the Navy in the early 2000's. I had an 18yr old kid from California that was listening to the music. He commented on how talented the game makers were for coming up with all those different songs for the soundtracks. I had to inform him that all but Love Fist was real artists. He was in disbelief until I pulled out a few cd's that had some songs on them.
@@richhornburg4497 Bro! That is hilarious! 🤣😂🤣😂 And long live "The Fist!!" LMFAO!!
I wouldn't go that far as to say music today isn't real, it's definitely not to my taste but every older generation listening to the next generation of music says it is crap.
That being said that was in fact the goal of guitar hero was to introduce older music to a younger generation to the point where they straight up said they put in songs that weren't the best songs to put in a guitar game just cause they were amazing songs in general
Duo Gemstone yes tho this generation is the first generation I’ve seen where the younger generation says “today’s music sucks” and listen to their parents music
RIP RONNIE JAMES DIO
Ronnie was the lead singer for Black Sabbath after Ozzy left the band.
RIP RANDY RHODES
Randy was the guitar player for Ozzy.
Hand of Doom!
Randy Rhodes was ONE of the guitar players for Ozzy my friend. He's had several work with him during his solo career.
First of all Ozzy didn't leave the band, he was kicked out for his drug habits (ironic since the whole band had the same iasue). And while I take nothing away from RJD... RIP.. he was a great singer who also gave us devil horns... he was also never the same level as Ozzy.. success speaks for itself. As an Ozzy fan, I also appreciate RJD for what he did.. but as for his arrogance with putting down Ozzy and many rock fans for their lack of intelligence I have no use. I too have a college degree... and those who are truly intelligent do not have to put others down because of a lack of one. Intelligence comes on all shapes, forms and sizes. This post was about Ozzy... and yet still todayvwe have this petty war between the two camps. Is it really necessary? RJD was a great artist, and so is Ozzy.. can't we simply leave it at that?
A pale and lackluster replacement in my opinion.
@@jamesrussell8571 Ozzy was just completely out of control compared to the other members I think. And I think the tipping point for them was when Ozzy didn’t show up for a show. I don’t know if that’s true of false.
I kept waiting for that moment when you realized you've heard this song 1,000 times before. It has been used in commercials, and parts of it are often played at NFL and NBA stadiums. You probably are right that it's been in games like Guitar Hero, and I imagine it's also been used in many more. So much fun watching you react to music because your expressions and emotions are really infectious. Keep up the good work on the reactions, and good luck in school!

Randy would have been out of the band within 2 years had he lived. He was doing 1 more album and tour then leave to pursue classical interests.

the lyrics are more meaningful than you realize. Everyone gets caught up in the music and great guitar work. Randy took some of his cues from Eddie Van Halen and probably could have passed him if not for the tragic accident that killed him. Ozzy took it very hard and had trouble doing this song for a while. He also played in Quiet Riot which you should check out.

Ozzy made a live album of Randy from a couple of shows. It is called Ozzy Osbourns Tribute To Randy Rhoads. That is where this guitarist came to life. Phenominal.
Every stadium and arena plays this song to pump up the crowds🤘
Ozzy Osborne was kicked out of Black Sabbath for being super crazy on drugs. But he actually became more popular then Sabbath after being kicked out. Ozzy also ate the head off a living bat live on stage, and snorted a line of ants in front of Motley Crue. He’s been sober since 2013 though. (Other then maybe people like Keith Richards, he was probobly the most out of control drug addict in Rock N Roll)
The irony lol.
He thought the bat was a prop, it was a the biting the head off the pigeon in front of a record producer thats a real riot... he was supposed to release it as a symbol of peace.
8:09 good ear actually. Randy double tracked this by playing it twice and recording each time separately and then they layered the tracks over each other. If you listen real close at parts you can actually hear the points where he didn't play it exactly the same on each track. Creates a really cool, rich and full sounding effect. You got good instincts.
You make me smile. It's good to get out of your comfort zone. Ozzy left Black Sabbath to go solo. I saw him in 1986. This song came out when I was 14. Love the Oz
💕🎶💕ozzy osbourne and Randy Rhodes (RIP) were soul mates of music for sure.. pure genius
Bark At The Moon by Ozzy is another banger. Side note, Zack Kim plays two guitars at the same time. He does the Simpson's theam song and the Mario bros theam song on two guitars at the same time
Yes bark at the moon is amazing!!
Best part about Bark At The Moon is that Ozzy performed it in that one eclipse that took place in the U.S. a few years back. He even timed the performance so the bridge lined up with the actual moment the shadow passed over the stage.
I think Jake E Lee played guitar on bark at the moon

First album I ever owned. My Dad found a copy at a yard sale in the late 80s and let me have his record player. I don't understand how I didn't literally wear it out from repeat listens. First concert I ever attended was an Ozzfest show in the 90s. I saw Type O Negative, Pantera and Ozzy back to back. Never been the same since.
