This welder is a shitty Eastwood China welder, I was butt welding, not using the right wire, and not doing anything the “right” way. You can’t “run a bead” on anything that I was doing. It held as long as I needed it to, and I later on welded an entire turbo log manifold together that’s still holding 9k miles later. To everyone else who’s dead grandpa that didn’t raise their kids and grandkids to be cunts to strangers on the internet, thanks for the views and comments.

I think this was more of a fitment issue, you shouldn't really just butt up exhaust pipe like this, expand the pipe or get an exhaust fitting so the pipes fit together and overlap so you can actually weld it clean.
You need to commit to the welding process and get a bead going! Also, making sure the parts actually fit together would be a plus. Other than that, good job sounds nascar.
If it was getting hard to see with your helmet, get a better helmet bud.. You're burning the F out of your eyes, not too mention heading for a nice round of flashburn!
I just got some flowers Tec bullet mufflers and I hate how they sound does this muffler have the raspy crack like a glass pack muffler or do they have a deep tone like a regular muffler flowmaster has
Dont listen to anyone who says something aboit your welds aslong as they hold they are good and atleast you are doing things yourself if you fuck it up you can try again

My guess is that it would depend on your local noise ordinance. You can google the local statutes and there might be a decibel level of acceptable volume. I guess you’d have to take a chance and throw the muffler on then have a machine that could tell you the decibel level of your exhaust to verify if it would be within the tolerances of the law.

How loud is this? I want to buy it but I don't want to waste my money since my current exhaust is too loud. So loud it hurts my eardrums. Asking since video usually doesn't do the noise justice.

My grand dad was a welder, he just turned in his grave watching you weld. Set your heat and feed speed correctly and lay a bead down.
