Been spending 7 days on my 07 2500HD. Was having starter problems so we changed it and when we put the battery back on the truck lost PRNDL.. changed about 7 grounds, new power cable, fuse box has been changed before in fact someone has done all this before because is seems pretty clean. Going to try the bcm next.. when i got the truck 6 month's ago it had the same problem, put it on a flatbed and i remember the truck had to be drug onto it as the wheel was locked. By the time it got to my house it rolled off, popped the infotainment fuse and put it back in and she started. Only paid 2k for it and has been a great work truck till this... this time that fuse removal doesn't help. Last week to get her going or shes staying parked till spring. Great video
hey Brian it's David Keller from Wilsons garage in Bath, glad I found you! I've learned a lot from you...my first job today is a 14 Chevy van no crank no prndl thanks for the pointers
I need your help bro. HVAC problem, it lights up but no function. And it shuts the dash radio rear hvac etc. I did all my preliminary Checks, all fuses are good pulled the schematics and traces it back to the sp205 and the white hvac wire is the problem pulled the wire and plugged the splice connector back up and all works fine. Now I’m stuck because now I don’t know where to. 03 Yukon xl.
Have a 3500 2011 duramax with no shift indicator. Not starting. Tried unplugging pto module and plugging back in- I’ve had that work before. But now my “quick trick” is no longer working! Trying to figure this thing out.
Good diag vid! As soon as I saw "No Comm" I knew you had a issue then you said "Plow" and that makes you start really thinking.. Never fails. The main thing is you stick to your diagnostic routine and don't get sidetracked. You'll probably be replacing future modules for them in the future as one shop gave up or failed or whatever. Brian, If I may ask what software were you using for the chevy pickup? IS it a emulation software that emulates the old Tech 2 I believe it was they use to use?

I have the same problem but I don’t know how to fix it or what tools needed
Awesome job as always Brian 👏
Thanks!
Hi everyone. Keith
How can I get something to reset the VCM or who can I call 😅
Awesome job.! With Gm new platform you can use aftermarket or use modules or only new modules.!??
All depends , many variables
Hey! Is everything ok? You haven’t uploaded more videos. I hope you’re ok
Took a long vacation! Just getting back into swing of things
What was the deal with the GoPro? OH wait maybe I should go check the previous video out.
LOL I am just not impressed with the unit at all, I am / was using a hero 9 black
Nice diag Brian, one fault can be hard enough let alone having two!
yeah its tough sometimes

Yes it is tech 2 emulator, called tech 2 win, it does most functions like a tech 2
👍
Great diag! 👍
Thanks Miguel, It was a odd one! I did not know that a unprogrammed BCM would stop the PRNDL from working !!
@@BrianMann216 Yup I was today years old when I learned that lol.
So you just replace ecm or bcm man ?
👍👍
