Hey brother! I just want to say thank you! This video is what fixed my 09 silverado. I did a motor swap on my lc9 and couldn't get it going for 4 weeks . Trouble shooting ext . From a cut harness going from my engine to my fuse block. Power distribution block. Refined all the pins . This was my last hurtle. And you nailed it! Thanks again. Your video was bang on
Man thanks so much, best video i found i watched so many literally had my starter out checked all grounds wires, had fuse box out cleaned everything. For it to be a 2 amp fuse. Still wondering what made it blow. Guess ill throw some fuses in truck see if it happens again.

Have a question hoping you can answer, seams no one else has an answer for this, what is a discrete input? In the case of GM 2000 Buick Park Ave. VSS - vehicle speed sensor - A vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connected to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via discrete inputs provides a signal source to the IPC. The VSS discrete signal is pulled up to ignition 1 (IGN 1) in the IPC. The IPC uses the VSS data received from the PCM and a software program to determine the proper speedometer gauge pointer position. Some other people think this is some GM secret and they won't tell how it works what it is. Looking at a wiring diagram for the speedometer, shows a single DK/green with white trace wire from the PCM to IPC for speed info. Not sent out on the class2 data buss? Thank you before hand .
That topology kinda sucks because it’s not labeled right. It says body power train should be labeled as can or low speed lan just my thoughts. I have same scanner it’s right on fords and Chrysler’s.

Not Sure , I usually encounter human induced errors with the help of a power probe or similar device.

Took me a week to the day to find this video. I thought I checked everything. A seemingly insignificant 2amp fuse. Fired right up

The red wire on the fuse block is missing there should be two red wires not one
