If you play surge 1 you have a general understanding of how things work. I personally had no issue learning the mechanics in an hour or so because I had experience in the surge 1.
The only thing I've found that melts losers faster than the Gaia Lancer is the S&R Kingfisher (late-game, more speed and more damage). Both are ridiculously OP though, that R2+R1+R1+R1 tornado of death literally deletes HP bars. I was using a MK.VIII Gaia Lancer and killed the Gamma Delver in about 10 seconds. And honestly for 95% of the game there is no functional reason to take the VULTR armor off... it's just so stupidly beneficial. I switch to A.I.D. Centauri to make the death tornado even more deathy for bosses or just to look a little more sexy,, but that's about it 😂
Totally agree; until late game Gaia Lance + VULTR armor are OP as it gets. I tried to switch the VULTR armor off but I always ended up coming back to it, as you said it's just stupidly beneficial.
Geez! I’m late to the game but thanks for this! I am at little Johnny and struggling and have not even been to the areas up the lift where the shield guys are(majority of your video). Awesome!
Heavy armors give you a lot defence and many health, but required a cost very high of of stamina and core power. Heavy duty weapons are very slow but they have a very strong damage.
@@YannMetalhead I think that will be great if your character can using fire weapons like... (machines guns, snipers, shotguns, gatling guns, mines, granade launcher, rocket launcher, flamethrower and shields) Maybe there a future game of Surge with this mechanic integrated.

@@HDgaming345 I believe his farm spot is the one I showed in the video. The part I said I never thought about was to go back to get Brother Trumen weapon.
I believe we still can go for a dodge based attack system; they just add the possibility to go for a parry attack system if you want to. For example, there's builds focused entirely on dodge and builds focused entirely on parry.
@@YannMetalhead I think the dev’s said that you can beat the game without blocking directionally but if you learn to do the blocking you get a easier time.
You get ammo killing enemies. Did you killed every enemy I showed in the video? Plus the damage your shots do it's based on the damage of your weapon, so stronger weapons = stronger shots. The Gaia Statues are hard if you not used to parry. If you having trouble try to grind some levels to increase your health. And if you got the weapon I showed in the video (Darkened Dragoon) you already good to go, leave the Gaia dudes for later.
You need to lock on to the enemy and hold down the left shoulder button to block. You will then see a white direction indicator near the center of the screen. This tells you from which direction you are going to be attacked from. To parry, you need to flick the right analog stick in the same direction as the indicator that you see in the screen. Parry seems very hard at first but gets easy after practice for a while. Find a slow enemy and practice a litte.

"guys are impossible to defeat i saw u ran to the rift and flew up the rift for me was not active" - - - They're not impossible, just really strong at this point in the game and that's why I don't fight them; I just run through them. About the lift: when the alarm turns on one guy comes down from it and than the lift gets deactivated. You just have to use it before the guy comes down or as soon he gets off the lift.
