You could also incorporate the extra component implant you get from the scarab armored guy holding the nano assembler. It's -50% energy gain but +1 component per limb cut. Doesn't give extra weap component though. People have said you need to cut his head to get the implant. I'm not sure.
Idk if anyone else will come by this but if you do the method where you farm the infected scientist later in the game you will meet a man named professor la croix and he'll ask you to hunt down 3 of the scientist for prototypes. You'll only have to kill the other 2 and then you can return to him because it won't give you a prompt that you found the prototype from the one you farmed early game.
Very good content, as I am just playing for 1st time, and I absolutely love this gem of a game. Thank you for the tips I did not even know how to destroy shields yet lol,so very very helpful.
The best tip I got for this game (from another Utuber), was the fact that if you fail to get a boss and die OR fail to get his weapon your after, then after fail, hit escape or after dying hit escape (back to main menu),, get out of med bay, go to menu, go to main page, hit continue, then highlight the save your are playing, and at bottom hit the REVERT to previous save key, t at (bottom of screen), and it will load your previous save. If you keep hitting revert it will continue taking back to the previous med bay, so careful to not do it more than once, why do this because if you have 20 drone shots and 4 health boosters, and you use them and start again from medbay you lost your drone shots and eventually you will have NONE (0) and that just sux, but if you revert you start with max Drone shots and unless you opened the vendors at Seaside court YOU CANT BUY more drone shots (have to pick them up off enemies which takes a longtime to get a bunch. ALWAYS REVERT if killed. I make sure I do the Hunters below to farm parts and get to having max health boosters before Statue fight. Also often a high lvl enemy is very near the medbay and highlight the body part needed and spawn, highlight body part, kill enemy go back to medbay and he will respawn, highlight same or different body part (armored) and repeat to get more crafting components. I guess everyone already knows this but it might help some. Careful when you do the Revert to previous save, if you do it more than 1 time you can keep going back and lose quite a bit of time, and also you could hit the key to delete your save slot altogether as they dont give you a warning (are you sure you want to delete your save?). You got 4 parrys green and got the sign to cut off the arm and used the drone to dimish its shield, I have defeated this first Statue and now cant get the Gaia lance as I have used the drone and gotten over 6 green parrys and end up killing it but never cut off arm even tho its highlighted AND the implant that targets the limb is used (level 45).

When u should never mess with me 1: I have one weapon that does 1000 dmg 2: my gear is strong 3: I have a lot of health and stamina and core so don’t make fun hope you have a good day in the surge 2 :d
dont waste your time trying to farm the level 9 enemie, the time it would take to get the alotted material and tech scrap needed to constantly upgrade your gear is around the same amount time one would take if they are just starting out in game, not to mention having to be able to make the alotted jump perfectly everytime. your better off farming the area leading to cloud 9 bar you'll get all the material and tech scrap to level up your gear and character, the enemies are between level 2-5.i have farmed that area on many occasions thru alternate characters to get to level 5 before fighting the first real boss of the game and i am also gonna suggest farming for the urbn armor set for boss fights, its definitely a life saver in boss fights cause of its 2 armor perks. also do yourself a favor there are a few alternate shortcuts to open past the security gate so make sure to look around and unlock them cause they will save you time if you do die while trying to get thru those specific areas again.
That's another option for sure. The Mad Scientist drops 2429 tech scraps when killed, so, when your finished farming the material required you will have plenty of tech scraps to upgrade. The jump becomes easier once you get the hang of it; just jump from the same position every time. After you get the hang of it and if you upgrading your gear along the way, you probably can get to lv9 in under three hours.
Practicing! But you don't need to go straight to where I show, you can stop along the way and farm/grind the enemies so you will progressing little by little. You can farm these guys for their gear ua-cam.com/video/VkiH-UCHTXg/v-deo.html; the gear has a good defense and will be useful to practice combat, since you will take longer before dying.
