This won't get patched. This is NOT actually a glitch like I thought originally, it's part of the game mechanics designed into both Surge 1 & 2. You get a bonus for getting the timer to 5 minutes and a bigger bonus if you can get the timer to 7:30 minutes.
Yes it work and if I remember correctly you can go rest at the medbay instead of picking up your scrap and do the path again, increasing the timer further up to 7 or 8 minutes and it's like double scrap instead of 1.5 the amount.
So with my last comment being said. It's best to make about two rounds before picking up once you hit around 9,999,999. If you deposit till you have roughly 9,999,999, die, get timer to 8:00 and above you will pick back up around 19 mil every time. And I've tested this myself multiple times! Therefore it's the fastest and most efficient method rather than circling once and getting back 10.2 to 10.4 mil for the 5:00 timer

It still works (PS4). But i would say this is more of the "Skill" side of Glitch, since you lose everything if you mess up^^ And beginner Players might not be that good at the start of the Game.
some TIP: dont bother going for finishers, its usually waste of your time. Also if you are struggling you can kill few times the angel nearby to get his weapon or even get parts for upgrading any weapon to lv3
I can't get into timer 5 minutes or 7 I only can like 3 minutes. And idk how to fast get hundred thousand scrap. All I can like just thousand scrap and that's it. So how to exactly I was just thinking that my character damage it's not like the video like the video it's looks like already in high damage so hitting enemy two times can kill them. But in my first play through it needed like 4-5 move to killing them especially long if the robot was full armor. So any tips?
always found killing the engel enemy in the area we started in better its a tough fight until you steal its weapon and then you can literally just stomp him into the ground and you get 1k tech along with tech consumable drops each kill
tried this and lost my 35000 because the enemies were to easy and i didn't pay attention. back to the grind ....edit1 lost 20000 more(3 of them jumped me ). can't manage to get the timer to 5 minutes ...edit 2 . cant make 5 minutes . did 4;45 once ....hmmmm edit 3 : i was missing one guy. let me try again last edit. did it .had to kill the last guy to but it works. a bit spicy thought ...i imagine the more you do it the easier it gets fineal edit 2 : i stoped at 34 million . im core level 210 01/02/2024
It's been a while since I played, but you just run then attack. I can't remember if it's "X" or "L3" to run, but just run and hit attack. If I remember correctly, "R1" will do the slide attack and "R2" will do a jumping attack....or it's the other way around. Different weapons have different special attacks though. I played most of the game with the PAX 2.0 weapon from the first boss by beating him with the hard mode challenge...which is...don't let the boss take damage from his own missiles. And the beginner weapon I was using in this video has the same special moves.
Learning the slide and jumping attacks will help in most boss fights. Once you get the hang of it, if you get close then slide past them, you'll actually turn and hit the enemies in the back while the enemies are attacking forward past you.
It works not for me... I kill fast enough and not get the stupid 5 min... And believe me i kill really fast... I think they patched the time or what ever 😡

Having a problem.
Once I get to around 14 mil, I don't get the extra for being over 5 and 7:30, only what was dropped.
Is something happening?
The game doesn't let you have more then 10-15 mil at once. Make sure you spend it before starting to farm.

I think you need to at least complete your armor set. Focusing on the weak spot also helps
using it now, over 7.5mins is 100% bonus so thats just a lap around the factory and underground for me :)
There is a limit 10 million after that you have to bank the points The game won't let you collect more than 10 million on screen

Possibly, it's a pretty old game and I learned on the last patch. Everyone else says it still works
Also you must get the timer over 5 minutes to get the bonus for 1.5x

I just reinstalled the game on playstation which automatically gives it the last patch and it does still work today
How do you that slide attack?
It's been a while since I played, but you just run then attack. I can't remember if it's "X" or "L3" to run, but just run and hit attack.
