I would disagree with you comment that the bridge position does not have to be exact! The bridge needs to be exactly positioned or the intonation will be out. If you measure the distance between the nut and the crown of the 12th fret and then use that exact distance from 12th fret to where the bridge is placed, that is the precise position where the bridge should be placed.

I ordered mine yesterday, and should have it by Monday, However, I made a bit more than $90 dollars for mine. I paid $126 plus taxes for mine, but I think that is still a great deal for a decent instrument.

If you want to make this a left handed banjolele, can you reverse the bridge for the grooves to fit? Thanks

I would think so but can't say for sure.

A reviewer on Amazon said strings could be reversed but hand guard might be in the way.

rich which direction is it to loosen ukelele strings. I am trying to install my bridge on my brand new aklot banjo ukulele

Left side tuners go one way, right side tuners go the other. Pluck the strings and tune. If pitch goes lower, you are loosening the strings. If it goes higher, you are tightening the strings. Banjo uke strings loosen and tighten in the same directions as regular GCEA ukuleles. The only ones I know that are different are the Fender style headstocks, with all tuners lined up in a row.😊😊😊😊

@@Snowbearkay I'm sorry to hear your news. Learning is painful sometimes. I'm glad the ukulele wasn't damaged. Press on and enjoy your ukulele when you get the strings for it. We all have experiences like this in the beginning. You'll be an old pro one day!
