    I bought one of these a year or so ago. There were a couple of sharp frets on mine, easily smoothed with a nail file, and I also found the square edges of the nut dug into my fretting hand and had to file those off. But I agree that it's excellent value for money.

      Glad you like yours too. My frets were good on this one but I vaguely remember smoothing off the nit as well. Yes, excellent value for money.

    I brought one last year and I think it's great. Could you please do some more playalongs with the banjolele. Thanks.

      Lovely to hear you like yours too. I'll certainly look at some more banjolele play alongs for the future (there is a bit of a list though ;-) )

      Shw mae and very glad to have you on board. I down south in the swansea Valley. I am a school music teacher but don't do uke or banjolele lessons outside of school as I just haven't got the time but do have quite a few online lessons on here. Check out Phil Doleman's channel as he has some brilliant lessons on there. Diolch

    Very nice video indeed. Let me know, in case you could plan to invest twice the price of Kmise (about 200-240€) which one do you recommend? There are not many options in Europe and Deering is too expensive (also Firefly)... thanks again

      Hi, I am not a ukulele banjo expert and have only personally played the Kmise BUT I have heard very good things about Gold tone banjo ukuleles and some of those models would fall into your price range. Also Blue Moon have some ukulele banjo models but again I am only going on what others. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

      Hi Robert, yes the holding of the banjolele does take a bit of getting used to and I still get a bit sore when playing it for a long period of time. I might try a strap, maybe an idea?

    I've always wanted a banjolele, however, as I live in a flat in a crowded townhouse complex the loud projection of a banjolele might make me unpopular with my neighbours on all sides. Still I could get one for my advanced UAS affliction. #UASsupportgroup

      If you want to mute one, place a rag between the drum head and rod, on the inside of the body. You can vary the muting effect by how many layers are stuffed in.

    • @JBSlickflyer
      @JBSlickflyer 3 роки тому +1

      The rag also takes away some of the harshness in the sound.

      Some great tips there about dampening the sound and if your UAS is telling you....................... Have you got it yet Tobias? LOL

    Shwmae. Sut ydich chi? Da iawn? The issue with KMISE is that you never know what you'll get. You can have a very decent instrument as you can get an awful one. I got one that had an action of almost 6 mm instead of the 3 mm advertised. I had to buy another bridge to solve give or take the issue. Also behind the bottom cover if you remove it there is an adjustable rod. The instrument comes with some sort of wrench to adjust the clamps there pretty obvious but for this rod, how nobody seems to know.

      Diolch. Completely understand about quality but having been lucky with 3 great banjoleles and dozens of other Kmise ukes I must say that their quality is generally very good and their customer service has always been excellent when I have had issues. Check out my other Kmise video, I'm not say there aren't problems but I have been generally impressed. (I am not sponsored or been given free ukes from them)

    • @jobloman5409

      As you are a well known influencer they definitely are more careful when they send you any of their products. I forgot to add to my comment that because of the issue rather than to return the product they offered me a 50% discount that obviously I could'nt refuse. Diolch yn fawr iawn

      @@jobloman5409 Hi, honestly, when I bought all the Kmise ukes for school I didn't even have a UA-cam channel and I can assure you, I have no connections with any uke makers / dealers. I am not pretending there aren't any faults, just as an overall quality, they are generally consistent for a CHEAP brand.

      When bought on Amazon, if you have any problems, you have great cooperation with K-Mise ...or you can return it for free and ask a refund. Bought a K-mise acoustic-electric ukulele and it sounds great.
