- Love is in the air whilst out metal detecting with Lee and Lady Jane. Some great finds yet again on Lees permission.
My car is now fixed and this is a video from before it broke down. Normality will resume in a few days where I will be back on track and start updating the charity total daily as I did before.
Just a quick update explaining why there might be a delay in videos for a while. Normal service will resume shortly.

wow, what a good day out you all had - a myriad of curios there. My fav was Jane's old cast toy car. Well done Dan on the George III coin & for honing your skill with the Minelab. Thanks to Lee for his permissions & for keeping the park safe as it should be. Lee's ring finds are nearly a "given" - really unusual one there with the big stone Enjoy your ring Jane if you end up with it :) You said in the video you didn't want it and that you'd find one of your own. You go girl!

Dan, now you go easy on the teasing with Jane. You are fortunate that she is such a good sport with all your teasing. Better scoop her up and take her with you when you leave, then sometime from June-September 2017, maybe you two could go to (Glass Beach) in (Fort Bragg), California. You could make some really great vids there too and Jane could find beautiful sea glass, by the tons and I believe all of it is before the year 1920 or so, because that is about when the dumping of refuge, by both private residents and businesses, was outlawed. Come On, Get In ! : )

if you really want to turbo charge that machine - run it in ferrous tones (instead of conductivity) - run it with NO discrimination (which basically just mutes/nulls the signal) - and listen for the higher tones (ferrous makes the iron signals the low tones) - of course - you will have to look at the chart thingy (some people use the numbers ...I like the chart) - when you get a high tone - to see if its likely a coin (i.e. up at the top) - but - I switched all the settings on my explorer (the precursor to your machine) and - you would not believe all the additional stuff you will find....and it runs faster (this is probably mostly applicable in trashy areas)

Gotta love the x-terra, I always tried to promote that series of Minelab, they are great, and very easy to uise. Hope you use it in all metal or the machine will be to slow.

On the thumbnail for "Craig's) channel, is a diamond shaped piece of metal that looks very much like the one you found at the (2:15 time stamp) and gave to Lady Jane, on your "Hi Ho Silver Detecting (143) vid. Maybe the one you found is the back piece for the one Craig found. His has the word NEWARK and a date below that. Hmm?

Thanks, I watch another guy from the usa Dr.Tones and he said in one of his videos he had to whilst in england, I guess he's wrong or just if your not from there than you have to.. I don't knoooww.. lol thanks for sharing your videos.
Dr Tones like Chicago Ron pays to go on field hunts where there is old history. The coroner, from what l believe, is there with them and looks over the finds to determine if they are wanted. then they go to the archeology society. But l could be full of it.
