Robyn, I just discovered this process this afternoon. I watched two videos and then yours popped up in my feed. Your instructions made it seem so easy. I worked 7 pieces and I LOVE THEM. I will, probably, have difficulty holding my coffee cup in the morning with these old arthritic hands. You’re right it’s much more interesting and soothing that squeezing a rubber ball. I’ll just try not to overdo it, but I want to do all the papers. 😄💜

Thank you Robyn! I’m a newbie to this and your tutorial is very helpful!! Watching someone do a technique to make parts of the paper translucent there were many questions such as 1: does the oil go “off” after a while? 2: Does the paper accept glue after this process or do you need a special glue? 3: Finally for now 😉does the oil transfer to the surrounding pages when made into a book? I love the fabric like look of the papers! Thank you so much!!💕

I did this lesson 5 months ago and let my papers hang in the garage. I live in So. California so I figured my papers would dry out from the oils within a week or two. It's now May 6 and I placed my Momigami on my brand new pile of tissue paper and the oil soaked down through seven layers. Anyone have any ideas on how to rid the excess oil so they can finally go into a journal. I really love the feel and look of the papers.

How did I find this on the last day! I love this so much. I’m going to have to go back and do the whole series. This the aesthetic I love. I’m so inspired. I have a whole collection of papers I’m going to try this today!
