Because its majority water phase and it needs to be kept at temperature while the emulsion forms, you can heat the water then melt the waxes/emulsify in one step. If you heat the waxes separately you may burn them while you wait for the water to get to temperature, but you can do it that way if you have a water bath - it can also be hard to transfer the waxes as they may set during transfer. This part of the method you could alter to suit your equipment but it is incredibly important (and why I say it so much) to hold temperature and mix for at least 10 minutes when combined otherwise it won't come together as it sets. Hope this helps!
Thank you - there are actually two formulas here and the method is crucial so please email us for full details of the ingredients, method and suppliers: info@personalcarescience.com.au
Hi there, Is it possible to make a daily moisturizing leave in hair butter using real avocado, honey and oils? I'm worried about the shelf life and if the honey would leave the hair too sticky. Can you assist?
Hi Stacey, you can make a hair butter but it wouldn't contain much of these ingredients otherwise it would make the hair feel sticky and heavy/lank. You can use these ingredients in the product but you would need other more important functional ingredients to provide the conditioning, structure and wash out properties. Please contact us if you would like learn how to formulate these types of products or have someone create them for you: info@personalcarescience.com.au Happy formulating!
Unfortunately not sufficient protection at this stage but we are seeing more and more natural materials become available to solve such formulation challenges. Maybe one day soon...
Please check, paddle blades are often horizontal while sweeper blades are vertical like you see my motion of mixing. Its very important they are vertical so you get the same blending you see me achieve.

You won't get the same consistency as I have achieved as the melting points are very different, using these materials gives you that pliable consistency and is hard to achieve with other materials.
@@theinstituteofpersonalcare6401 Hello i have a question, in permanent hair straightening along with thio we used lanolin, mineral oil, glycerol stearate, Certryl alcohol etc. How the work in chemical straightening? Is this possible they can make a waterproof barrier on hair?
You should do a natural or shea detangler spray or Dead Sea salt detangler
Great video. Why didn't you melt the waxes first? Just wondering.
