Iona is my favourite place in Scotland (on par with Assynt) - beautiful idyllic and serene island 😍😍. On the other hand - we had a bad experience on Ben More - the only Munro which conquered us. Unforecasted heavy clouds quickly shrouded the whole mountain and we were not dressed for the occasion 😜. We will try next year.
We wish we had more time on Iona and already plan a trip back! What a place…did you not get to the top then? We were so lucky with the weather that day! What a joy. Fingers crossed for you for the next time!! Paul

@@PAADVENTURES1 yes, hope to get back sometime and do some exploring, fancy a trip out to see the fossil tree amongst other things. My last visit was for a week in December 2008 with main aim to compleat on Ben More. Got a cracking day for it and will always remember Elbow - One Day Like This playing on the radio as I.travelled the dark icy roads around to Dhiseig. It was indeed a beautiful day. Cheers Paul.
One of my favourite songs!! Remember dancing to that song as the last song of the night at my sisters wedding! I can remember my hair standing on end!! Yeah we are looking to go back in the autumn when it’s a bit quieter and explore the north of the island! Just packing the now for a big adventure this weekend 👍

This was my very fisrt Munro and still in my top 20 due to the whole experience of the ferry ride to the magical views of the stunning panoramic views of the stunning Mull.
I have to admit that I was blown away by Mull! didn't really know what to expect but it was fantastic! what a place and a great wee adventure! Cheers, Paul
