Yes he was a monster. I think he was driving around with her in the car so she would show up on cameras. How ironic that he goes into a covered parking garage,to hide him putting her in the trunk, but the cameras captured it.

Hello Gray from Melbourne Australia - I am about to go over and watch you on Court TV. When I think this case could not be any more awful, here you are highlighting more awfulness today. The sleeping arrangements at the apartment where Madeline lived with her so-called mother are obscene and hardly bearable to hear. What went on in that upstairs bedroom - far away from the self-involved Jen, only concerned about her own issues and sleep - make me feel sick. Poor, poor Madeline, who was failed by absolutely everyone, including her grandmother. How did no one ever question anything? Meanwhile, we have that amazing witness with his excellent recall and civic mindedness, leading authorities to Madeline and comprehensively to Stearns at that time and place, disposing of Madeline's body. Thank God for him. And thank you, Gray, for your stunning work as always.
Did Jenn never notice that one of Maddie's white crocs was in her room? Per new documents, it says 3 crocs were found in Jenn's room: 2 adult size 8's and 1 youth size 5-7.
I really hope she is charged also. This is so horrible. The more we learn about this case it just gets worse. 🤢 Her Mom might have some kind of learning problems but she knows better than to let this happen. We can only hope she is charged as well. Thanks, Gray, for all you do

Court TV has now said that a released report has said Madeline was strangled to death.
I was wondering that. He had probably done it before to her during what he did to her and killed her on accident this time or on purpose, who knows. Especially with her tongue sticking out. How did the roommates not notice something?

@karenandrews8695 somewhere it was mentioned that there was someone living in either room 2 or 3. I'd have to go back and listen again. That makes sense why the rooms were numbered and why she didn't have a room of her own. I just heard in during part 2 after around 18 minutes in and around the 30 minute mark.

I don't think he plan anything, he made to many mistakes. To start with he should have leave her laptop at the church or where ever he let her off that morning.
It’s interesting that Stearn’s wasn’t at the birthday party. I wonder if the grandmother did put her foot down about Stephan being a live-in boyfriend. I bet she’ll be the one who does interviews and says she tried to get her incompetent daughter to kick him out. I can’t imagine how many secrets Madeline had to keep. This is a truly awful case. Does anyone else get a feeling or sense that Madeline, once she turned 13, she decided no more of this crap, I'm done with it! And either told Stephan this or somehow made it clear to him. This is just so heartbreaking. This guy should never see the light of day again. And something has me really doubting that Jenn didn't have a clue about anything that was going on.

"Covered in a green hoodie" is peculiar language. Why not just say "wearing"? Because Sterns dressed her after he killed her. He strangled her that night, dressed her in jeans, crocs are easy to slip on feet. But the hoodie: maybe he slid it over her torso with her arms inside. That would account for the strange language "covered in a green hoodie" when that guy found her. She had been dead for some hours by the time he discarded her. Hence the flies. Am I wrong here? Thoughts?

They said he went back to the townhouse at 8:19 and that’s when Jen said he came in her room to leash the dog. I Think he came back to get Madi’s shoes/crocs because he knew they would know he was lying if none of her shoes were missing that morning.

Firstly, thank you for putting together this information for us. I really appreciate it and I also enjoy hearing your thoughts/feedback etc. Secondary well I can’t say it enough but I can’t stand Stephan shitty Sterns so much it makes me feel sick. Every time I think I couldn’t possibly hate him any more than I do I hear something else about him and what he has alleged done to Maddy and my dislike for him grows a little more intense. Hearing him speak trying to paint himself as a caring fatherly figure in her life sickens me so much. Rest in peace Maddy. Justice will find this A-hole unless the coward takes care of himself first which wouldn’t surprise me. His lack of appearance in court tells me his feeling embarrassed and doesn’t want to face the family or public. I guess we have to wait and see.
I can’t even explain the way my heartbreaks for this baby. 13 years old is still so new to this world. It’s also such a confusing time. I can’t imagine the mental and emotional struggles Madeline went through at the hands of Stephan and Jennifer. I listen to news on her case and I, like many of you, wish the details would magically change. That somehow she would still be here. I’m so sorry, Maddie. I’m so sorry. I hope that she’s resting peacefully and in a better place.

If the gate was open, it's possible he got the massive flat tire driving into the area where he dumped her and drove it back out to where he changed the tire. They hopefully show tire tracks of his car..... One case scenario....
Yes, several of sterns friends said that he always had money but never worked and they found that very odd. He was probably on the web sharing pictures to get money. Psycho. 😣
I bet SS pulled his car over near the drive to bushes got out,removed Madeline’s body from trunk as fast as he could,carried her to bushes, ran back to his car ,in case someone would ask he would say he was urinating, pulled across the road and appear to change tire.
How is it that nobody has any idea WHERE Jennifer Soto is? We have all these myriad of news sources and super sleuths and there is not one iota bit of information on what has happened to this mom’s whereabouts. Is she still working? Did she have a nervous breakdown? We know she hasn’t been charged, so what’s going on with her?
Makes you wonder if Stephan would get paid requests on telegram. Would people offer him $ to do QYZ to her? Did one of the request go too far? 🤢
Maybe she sent them up there so she wouldn't see him kill her. Didn't want to be a witness. Maybe he took photos of killing her and put on that weird computer site.

Just popping on to say in my opinion, Mum corrected "black pants" to "black shorts" because she knows her Daughter has Black Shorts NOT Pants.
Its interesting the position Maddie was found in - on her left side somewhat in a fetal position - her head slumped to the left in car and her position in the car could be similar to - somewhat in fetal position - it sort of seems that possibly he thought she was alive until he noticed signs of death - driving around in a dilemma and finally decided to dump her. Rigamortis was possibly starting and he had no idea what he was doing. My thoughts 😊 and I might be totally on the wrong page.

Some of my kids have ADHD and it's common for them to also have sleep issues which requires a sleep aid. I'm sure she typically took something and it aided the monster to hurt her
So if neither of those two monsters were at Maddie’s party , perhaps they were expending the time together and that is why there was a hotel room, maybe they planned her mur*** that night!

Jennifer Soto was a completely neglectful, if not complicit in her daughter's suffering. She turned a blind eye to what was going on and perhaps even benefitted from it. She was more than a non protecting bystander. She should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

For those wondering, it was unusually warm in coastal Georgia this past February so Florida would have been at least as warm. Students here were wearing uniform shorts to school, not long pants. Some, especially girls who are accustomed to skirts with warm leggings or tights, don’t bother buying long pants. I believe black shorts were part of Maddie’s school uniform.

I think he hurt her again that night or attempted to, she had decided at 13 if he touched her again, she had had enough of the abuse, and she was spilling the beans to x,y or z, abouut what he had been doing to her. In a fit of rage, he strangled her and started cooking up his weak story about dropping her off.

Gray you made an interesting point about saying “it wasn’t a planned homicide perhaps.” I believe the monster may have accidentally choked her. There was talk that he was signed up for some bondage group online. This would make sense why his whole timeline was messed up and why he made so many mistakes. I dont think he planned it.

He made a lot of mistakes and doesn’t do good job at covering up the crime. If that’s premeditation, that’s one dumb dumb. I don’t think Stephan Sterns is as dumb as people want to believe. How he tried to conceal the crime shows a person who did not thoroughly think things through. He made a lot fast decisions that don’t go in line with someone planning a murder. Just my observation. You don’t need to agree with it.
