Is there a reason to start all the way in on 5 down to 1 in order ? Can you start at 1 or anywhere you like ? What's the logic behind it .

That’s not an easy question to answer I found on these kwikset kw1 cylinders using exclusively a lishi kw1 lock pick it was easier and more effective to start with number 1 and work your way backwards to 5

After practicing, you’ll see the logic behind it. Hopefully this has been helpful. You have to try many different forms of the. Kwikset lock Cylinder from a padlock to a house lock to a commercial cylinder they all picked differently, but here’s the kicker all the kwikset kw1/kw5 cylinders, namely their pins in the cylinders pick extremely hard in comparison to say a Schlage lock brand the only other cylinder pins that I can compare the Kwikset pins two are the best SFIC cylinders they picked equally as hard and when I say hard, you can barely push the pins up no matter what tension you use they’re like hitting a wall You will see. I guess the logic behind it is practice it’s taken about a year working with these lishi locksmith tools two come up with some conclusions. There is a binding order. You have to find it, and it can easily be felt in the Lishi KW1 Kwikset tool starting from the front to the back
