Wonderful Series Mam. You mentioned about using Jeevamrut in the maize crop. May be you would want to make a small video on what all nutrients you use for crops and the frequency of supplying them to crops. In case only use Jeevamrut, your experience on the journey since you stared Jeevamrut.
Good to learn that you're a dog lover. They become our family members don't they ? Looking forward to further videos. Perhaps you might make one on the making of the Jeeva amrut.
I had been checking if there were any new videos from you, for the last one week. And then started rewatching your old ones and taking down notes. Thankyou for taking this video and sharing with us. I had been thinking that if I had a land of my own i may have to walk around with a stick, so seeing you with one today in your video, made me smile. It was interesting to see a different part of your farm. The poplars look great and give a charming style to your farm. I like your experiment with growing maize and rice. How often to you give jeevaamruth to the maize and rice? Do you ever stop giving them that or how far in their farming do you provide it to them? How much jeevamruth do you need to make for the maize and rice. I feel it is daunting. But I guess you became ready for a new challenge now, since the time you started Aananda. Really proud of you.
There is a fixed schedule for jeevamruth spray which we follow. We will share this in a blog. We add jeevamruth to the soil along with irrigation or rainfall. So as and when.

Very nice video. It’s very inspiring.. Is there a particular reason you carry that stick in this particular portion of your farm? I didn’t see you carry this stick in one of your other video.
Yes, this is zone 3. Further from where we normally hang out, so not that frequently visited. Chances of coming across something dangerous are higher here. Though we didn't encounter anything :-)
your farm looks great. Have you tried to plant rice with white clover as a nitrogen fixer? Natural farmer Masanobu Fukuoka of Japan used to practice that.
Could you do an episode only using the drone, so that we get to see the birds eye view with zones demarcated. Hopefully, you can zoom in and out of each zone.
Enjoyed this walk around. A question. What does the night watchman watch ? I mean thieves/wildlife ? In that case shouldn't you also have a watchman in the daytime.
Night watchman watches for wild animals who destroy the crops. In the day there are 6 staff members present on the property in any case, and we are there too. Wild animals only come at night
Thanks for the prompt response. :-) Yea. That makes sense. By wild animals you mean elephants Or foxes/deers. I'm trying to understand why would they come into your farm. To get at the produce? You don't keep chicken/ducks do you ?
Yes we still tractor our fields, which we are slowing converting into small.plots, to keep the tractor out. Now for Rabi season, there will be no tractoring here as we are cutting smaller plots out of these fields.

How much time do you spend in different parts of your farm in a day? Do you plan out your day in advance, go with the flow or a mix of both? You seem to be well read. Do have or get time to read?
Thats a great question, and also the premise of zoning. The parts you visit everyday are Zone 0 and Zone 1. And the parts you rarely visit are zone 5. Look out for a video on Zoning.
Couldn't take my eyes off the poplars and ashokas. Are Ashokas commercial too? Will it be viable to make thinner columns of cereals with more timber? I mean, if we are only growing paddy, maize etc for personal consumption and not for scale. Did the dogs die of poisoning or got beaten up? Either way, it's sad to know. I am sorry. Too excited.

Manisha you are your family have done some amazing work . Loved the density of trees even in areas where you have crops like maize and seaseme .
Thanks a ton, everyone can do it - you just need to get started!
Couldn’t agree more Manisha. After decades of terrace and roof top gardening time for me to expand that And follow your footsteps
Trees growing North - South cast shorter shadows.
Thanks for that tip. We grow paddy and we need the Sun . That solves the problem of too much shade!
Absolutely!
I enjoyed your video, it looks lovely at your farm.
Glad you enjoyed it
Had the farming been this way all along, we wouldn't have most of the problems we have today. Anyways step in right direction, nice work mam.

Did you add new soil in preparation to planting the maize. Thanks for your quick response. 😊
Was the monoculture started to appease Panditjis frequent requests? 🤔😊 Sorry for asking too many questions.
Thanks very much for the update. As usual very informative. You have lots of Ashoka trees in your farm. How does that help?
Just aesthetic value. We don't have a lot of them though .. only this walking path is lined with them.
Could you please do a video about how you water these fields which are little away? It’s helps to plan our farm
We plant them through a gravity feed pipe, coming from our borewell.

You are doing a noble job. The knowledge that you impart, is just divine.

Aanandaa Permaculture Farm 😀 good one... UA-cam videos are kind of permacontent 😉... if you invest in the ecosystem, the ecosystem will pay you back
Do you grow indigenous wheat? Two brothers organic farms sell the seeds. Incredible stuff.
We grow bansi and sharbati.
Pls make some video on teak trees if you have planted any. Thank you
Nice walk around. Can u share more about lobia plants. My flowers seem to wilt away . I can see ants on them too.
Sure I will

We have planted Poplar with the Ashoka trees
Hi! Thanks for the video.
How did you prepare the land for rice fields? You transplanted right? And, did you use a tractor this time?
Yes we still tractor our fields, which we are slowing converting into small.plots, to keep the tractor out. Now for Rabi season, there will be no tractoring here as we are cutting smaller plots out of these fields.
Thank you mam. Can you share some input on the white paints applied at the tree bottom? This will be useful for all of us.
Thats a simple lime paint (chuna). We paint them around Diwali each year as a preventive for termite attack
@@farmaanandaa Thank you mam. I saw in some california channel for organic paint. That is why I asked.
Also can you explain names and about the commercial plants which were planted in Aanandaa?
Poplar is a popular commercial tree in North India. It is consumed by the plywood industry.
Thank you 🙏
