This entire section from Maryborough to Ararat, has been an absolute delight.
I'm very happy you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
Another excellent drive along brother
@@chefjack33 thank you. Very happy to hear you enjoyed it 👍 😀
I remember the time this line was closed and was being used for storing grain wagons. You could see them from the highway. Good to see it running trains again.
Yes, I agree. It is good to see it active again. 👍😀
Excellent video my friends 😊awesome 😮Greeting 😁 👋🏻
@@MarcelosalivaTRENESArg thank you. Very happy you enjoyed it. Greetings. 👋👍😀

@@Alan-zi4or you're welcome. There was a bit of rain that day. Very happy to hear you and everyone else enjoy the videos. 👍😀
👍
👍😀
Wasn't the loco depot on the left as you enter the triangle? You can see the old formation.
This track runs through the site. It was really both sides. 👍😀
Great video but cannot understand why there are no signals protecting the triangle in the direction of travel.Seems very unusual
It is unusual. No signals around this route. 👍😀
seeing how the track is raised ,and the cuttings, all done without modern machinery, probably one shoveful at a time, gives me a great respect for those old timers that built the railways.
They certainly worked hard and knew what they were doing. 👍😀
Great video
@@yargn3594 thank you. very happy you enjoyed the video 👍 😀
Love your footage. Been following for a couple of years. Is there any way you could insert a speedo into the image?
I don't actually record the speed of the train, besides, there is a lot of work putting these together as it is. 🤔 😀 Very happy you are enjoying the channel. 😀👍😀
Hi there, When you zoom in on the map, can you leave it posted a bit longer so we can read it? Love your posting of old sites. I've been doing some of my own research for fun. Do you know of a site that has similar information or maps for Western Australia?
@@alanvaleandthelazyfarmer1930 I don't know of any one site for Western Australia. I have done a search unsuccessfully so far. 👍😀
i hit the pause button. i also have downloaded that mark bau map for my own reference. there are old railway maps of wa on-line but what ive found arent very clear. the railway museum at bassendean has a couple of old official maps.
👍😀
A Rather soggy day today. What is the stop board for.
@@thomasrobinson8336 on this line the driver has to get permission from the train controller to run further into Ararat before passing the stop board. 👍😀
Definitely 60 class Garratt territory in the future and no schedule passenger service to delay.
🤔😀👍
As this line was re-laid to SG for goods is here a speed limit on it?
@@archmcdonald6170 speed of 65kph with some 40kph restrictions due to some work to still be finished. 👍😀
@@driver667 Thank you
You're welcome. 👍😀
Is limit still 25?
The speed is 65kph with a number of 40kph restrictions due to work to be finished. 👍😀
@@driver667 there are also tight curves
@@tomhenry6440 👍😀
