I like how he adjusts his standard for commentary to what resources different people could have, like how he appreciates ideas when execution may not be A+.
You know how Champion used to be a Walmart brand and now is trendy and cool and 4x the price, that’s how i feel watching some of these brands.. like… why is this considered high tier level fashion when it looks like overpriced normal people clothing.
oooh Luke i adore you but.. having worked for over 20 years in high-end menswear, both bespoke as MTM (Brioni/Kiton/Tom Ford etc) i can guarantee you that shirt cuffs DO need to show underneath the sleeves of a jacket (preferably around 0.6 inches), so Ben Azelart (whoever that is) is doing it right. you're welcome. x
i am loving ben’s (benoftheweek) outfit. idk but it’s just so satisfying to look at? like that is an OUTFIT, not just a dress or suit or something but actually different elements put well together and it just FITS. also the cap adds a lot to it, like rounds it up amazingly.
My fave part about Luke's reviews is how he considers the person's taste or eras if he knows about it and even if he doesn't agree with it, he will respectfully comment on it
I love Dr Mike too and I love that you'll still be honest in your critique of the outfit he wore. People should realize that you are critiquing the clothing, not the person.
Kurtis Conner's outfit for his wedding ceremony was absolutely everything. The flares and the overall look was so refreshing. He's a good egg and a great entertainer.
Darcei actually made a tiktok saying her "dress" was actually a dress and a skirt layered because the original bottom of her dress looked cheap, so she layered a poofy skirt over it
@@hommefataltaemin he yelled a lot lol. stuff like "see???? you guys love hating but if you actually knew anything about fashion, you'd appreciate it!" and he suggested his outfit was more eccentric, which led normies to hate it. and then he yelled about how difficult it is to find flattering clothes as a big person.
Thank you Luke.....enjoyed this even though I don't know any of these people. I watch your videos for the usually spot on commentary 😊 "Worst??.......everybody else!"
Dying at Luke’s comment about Dr Mike’s black tie black shirt combo reminiscent of a sweet 16 in NY/NJ is spot on. I had my sweet 16 on Staten Island and my dancers wore the same outfit as Dr Mike 😂
I LOVE watching your videos not only for the roast (which are hilarious) but so learning about fashion and the background/hard work it takes to make it all happen. Have you ever considered making a video talking about kpop/Asian fashion? such as their performances etc. I know it is technically "costumeish" but sometimes they will wear amazing pieces from huge brands and I would be just curious to see your take on it. I've seen videos where you will see Blackpink or BTS on the red carpet and most of the time their fashion sense becomes a lot more subtle (I'm not sure if it's because they are in the US or what) but some of their performances outfits are STUNNING! I would love to see your opinions about it! Love You! We stan you!
I would LIVE to see you react to outfits that people post on their IGs. I’d die for it😭. It’d be one big episode of is it fashion or are they just skinny.
From what I heard, XQC was trying to get an outfit for the Streamy’s but his card was having issues so he ended up just going with what he wore for the day. Also I’m glad Hasan got best dressed. His style gets so much hate but I think he dressed pretty well for the Streamy’s!
Brad Mondo goes over the top with his outfits on his videos and looks great. I don't object to him pulling back and being more timeless for the awards.
Of that group of dudes you saw there and didn't know, one was I Did a Thing - Australian chaos engineering. The other (dressed like a kindergartener) is William Osman - US chaos engineering. And no, they're not really rich. If the other lads are similarly silly engineers, they can't afford better either. I'm just really glad to see them because they make QUALITY entertainment.
The streamys feel like the right event to have a really fun/funny theme like "junior prom" or "Can you believe I made it myself?" Like funny but still formal... 😂
Honestly, if one of my (many) favourite historical costuming ladies showed up I would 100% expect them to wear their hand-made clothes and would cheer them on incessantly. Heck, if I were a streamer myself and invited, I would wear my own handmade things. I'd love to see more 'i maed dis' in red carpets.
Oh wait, I remember seeing something about Darcei and her dress! The one she ordered was... look, the picture didn't match the product, and she improvised on the day with the pink petticoat over the top of the skirt. Trust me, she did good, because the original was a disaster.
Were Corteezy's pvc shoes fully misty/sweaty? That just gave me anxiety...imagine being in the red carpet, FEELING and SEEING your tarnished sweaty pvc toes and not being able to do anything about it. A nightmare

My opinion: I love Kai but he seriously looks like he’s going to the mall instead of the steamys 😭 Charlie needs to get fashion advice from Dixie (sorry not sorry😅) Hassan SNAPPED😍 nothing else stood out to me 😬
At the risk of being predictable, I think Courteezy's dress would have been more successful if the sleeve was on the side where the asymmetrical shoulder strap was. I loved Bob the Drag Queen's whole look! 💗 I agree that Brad was doing Brad. That's his style and it was fine. I also would've liked Linja to fully commit to the whole boot look - maybe with a fuller, poofy skirt on the dress. I did like the lace sleeve situation on her dress 😊 I like Kenz Lawren's look. She looks like a Rock Star - like a combo between David Bowie and Joan Jett.
LMAO xQc was going to get a sick fit but his card was locked and by the time Hasan tried to get to him it was too late, so he ended up wearing just normal clothes on the carpet. Very fitting for X
Just have to say, Ben of the week is wearing gorgeous Louis Vuitton platform baroque derby or baroque ranger boot by Virgil Abloh. My husband has them and they are so beautiful, I immediately recognized them. They were one of his last designs for Louis Vuitton.

I’m so sad I did a thing & boy boy (the 2 guys right to Hasan) decided to wear THAT 17:52 when they both tried on amazing outfits during their shopping stream.. same goes for Xqc they all could’ve served so hard

I like that these are all sorts of people, from kids to grandma's, and that they are really dressed like themselves. Hardly any brands, no uniformity, no rules. A lot seems self-made and self-found with care. Like the red dress-handbag-glove situation of whoever wore that, don't know them: I don't necessarily like the look so much, but finding those separate items in that exact same orange-red shade... cudo's! And the look worn by that cooking channel lady - she may have chosen that as something chic with a sensible heel, but her outfit might just as well have been Chanel with designer boots if worn by a Hollywood star with a team and a brand contract, right? And that dude in the simple suit; it's probably the best fitting suit he's ever been in, he made an effort getting it for this occasion. And it looks like it is really him in that suit: he is a nerd making digital weaponry, not an extrovert. Also, almost all of these outfits are worn under mostly beaming faces, you can really tell they're happy to be there, they MADE it. Fashion-wise it has an innocent amateur-night vibe where more exciting stuff happens than on some pro event backed by wads of cash. These people and their friends and partners picked and made their outfits with their own money and time. Most of it wasn't my taste or style, but I enjoyed the looks very much.

I think Amber Scholl put together the outfit herself. So the designer/stylist is her, and I’m here for it 😄

I think part of the issue with his suit is that the wine color clashed with the yellow/pink backdrop.
We all loved when he showered Lynja with compliments even though he obviously thought the look was nothing special.
But it was kinda interesting, especially the asymmetrical hem. But yeah, Lynda is just cute.
