- The 2022 American Music Awards has come and gone and was filled with some pretty atrocious outfits from a group of celebrities that definitely should have known better. Between Taylor Swift's horrifying jumpsuit that felt like a rhinestoned diaper to Dove Cameron and Tinashe wearing the same Marc Jacobs crop top to Machine Gun Kelly's porcupine couture we need everyone to take a breathe and re-evaluate.

Just to add: Dove Cameron was also wearing the exact same skirt as Tinashe. The only differences to Dove's outfit was the puffer coat/skirt thing and the different gloves. Whoever sent both those looks out, for the same event, should be ashamed of themselves.
Hmmm... this happened with blue dress recently right? Except they'd probably purchased it... maybe the saw all the hoohaah and attention.... easy and cheap media attention to their collection?
The top fit Dove a lot better as well and was a diffrent more cream color… much more elegant.

I like the idea of the jumpsuit but it’s just so badly executed. It could’ve been a really gorgeous 70s disco outfit. Nonetheless, the hair is PHENOMENAL

It’s so rare to see celebrities in anything flattering these days.
I think it's the fact that all the celebrities nowadays go for a full sexy/out there outfit, regardless of whether this style suits their shape/body type or not. No body shaming here, I just think that all sizes need to be represented in a flattering outfit, not squeezed in a bodice/minidress.

To be honest, when it’s compiled like this, I see why Zendaya is lightyears ahead of everyone else on the red carpet fashion department…she has “superstar” fashion moments on almost every carpet but it seems to come and go for a lot of other celebrities.
I feel like that's because she and/or her stylists put A LOT of thought into her outfits! They're really good at keeping a theme without making the outfits look kitsch as well - Spiderman premiere's, anyone? I've never seen a spiderweb pattern dress look so chic!

Sabrina was given a basic outfit but i think her makeup artist and hair stylist really made it fun. It looks amazing on her for the youthful and classic fit, i think it’s fun. I just miss seeing her with colorful red carpets such as the KCA or the Samsung Event, because it actually works with her colors and figure.
Ikrr I loved the look a lot and also the jacket she had on later on.

Like the tiny ass prom dress store in my town coordinates and tracks dresses so girls at the same school don’t get the same dress unless they wanna be that girl (they wouldn’t not sell it if you still wanted it but they’d tell you if someone else in your class bought it) is there no one coordinating this for celebrities haha

Tinashe probably showed up saw someone was wearing the same thing and decided to take off the puffer bustle so it looked a little different.
actually both looks are not the same, the runway look picture he showed is only the look dove did. the runway version of tinashe’s look is another one, was wear by a black model who got the same hairstyle tinashe has and it didn’t had a jacket around the skirt.

I love to hear you talk about fashion. I learn so much. I often do not like the over the top stuff you like, but i learn what you see in it. I agree about the TS outfit. It was pretty awful. I also didnt love the big red cloud, but part of my POV is what it would be like to sit in it all night. Runway stuff is fine, on and off but to live in a difficult dress for hours and figure out how to sit in it 😮

The TXT erasure in this video is just appalling. They CLEARLY had the best looks there! I mean, look at Yeonjun! And Soobin's hair, Hueningkai's coat serving 1920s rich girl vibes, Beomgyu somehow making casual-ish clothes look fancy, and whatever you call Taehyun's outfit because whatever it is, it looks great on him. These outfits deserve to be talked about already.

I understand fashion involves taking chances, so we need to be gentle in critiques. However, I love it when an outfit earns an A for effort, but a D in execution. That goose + plane analogy was hysterical. BTW, isn't this the 2nd or 3rd time that a look has been duplicated at one event? Is the interval between being walked in a show then sold to the public (to use a clothing term) shrinking?
