Thanks for walking me through my first oil change on my Street Glide!
Glad it helped 👍
Love those K&N Filters. Great video
Me too. I get these for the goldwing too. Way easier to handle.
Great video! I have the EXACT same motorcycle as you I think even the color! Doing my first oil change. You using the same oil and filter?
This was a while ago. I think those oils are still fine but I’ve since switched to all amsoil.
I add the whole 3.8 will that be okay .got it from HD so I dump the whole thing in
large paint tray works awesome 👌
Excellent tip!
Thank u.
Finally got around to watching this, you still using that pot for the oil?
lol yeah same pot. I think this video was the first time I used it. It’s in my shed as the oil pot
What kind of oil do you use for your primary and transmission thanks nice video
Thanks! I use Harley’s SYN 3 in all 3 holes now. When I made that video I hadn’t switched to HD brand yet
3 Short 2x6s boards for wheels & side stand! DOH
Do you know the filter numbers on the 96"?
I don’t. Twin cams should all be the same one though
@@UncleBogator it's is the same. Thank you
Good video, great bike. What was the reaction when you brought that pot back in the house?
Haha it was not allowed back in the house. It’s now my permanent oil pan.
thats a good looking bike.... Not as nice as the new road king but still nice..
Manbearpig is real I'm cereal!
Super cereal
Good video. Only thing I recommend is to actually remove the rubber gasket from the new filter and lube it in its entirety.
Remove the gasket from the oil filter and re-install?
Floyd Collins- Makes zero difference to do that actually. Class dismissed.
nice, concise video! :-)
Thanks! Had fun with it
Mike Branch there was some issues with these filters in the UK recently iirc, I think folk were fitting them and using a spanner to tighten them which they are not designed to have that stress put on them.
Hippo-Drones I learned at an early age to only tighten filters hand tight for that reason. They're fairly flimsy.
You could always cut the oil pan
It’s a staple of the garage at this point.
is this the same for the 2013 road glide ultra?
I can only assume that all 103s are equal.
