Lowering the vette 2inches by shaving the front rubbers and installing 10inch rear bolts. New shocks went on while I was in there replacing the original bilstein shocks
I’m assuming it’s sitting lower now aye? Sometimes have to drive around for abit let the car settle… any updates? Because my 1992 c4 sits lower then this and its stock, with good shocks
Thanks for this video, very helpful. I too am trying to lower the front....Im having trouble with getting the lower control arm out. The outside nut I can get to with a 15mm but how did you hold the inside larger bolt for it to stop spinnkng???
Yeah that Suspension has seen its better days 😅

@@patrickgazley8111 I used a large wrench I believe.
What material are those inner wheel well liners made of?
What kit did you use to lowercyour car? I really like the new stance.
Rear bolts. amzn.to/3QftkSZ

@eflinegarage did it settle at all or is it still in 4x4 mode? Lol, that's what I call mine!
Yes thank goodness it dropped about 1.5 inches and sits perfectly now.
@eflinegarage you just waited for it to settle? I put the 1 inch bolts on one side to see the comparison and I see no difference...
The shock shafts have flart spots you need to hold while you loosen that nut...
where did you get the wheels and wondering the size those are sweet!
I got them from JEGS believe it or not. I believe they are 12 rears, and 10 front. 17’s
I think something went wrong, my rear tucks tire with lowering bolts
Coilovers are the real way to go if ya got the cash$$
agreed but not for this car and how I’ll use it.
Should've went with a 19" rim
Not a fan of anything more than 18” on the C4. Personally the proportions are not right after 18. But that’s me
@@eflinegarage I get it. I got C6 rims on my 94. 18” on front and 19” on rear
