On all Android "tablets", the menus are on the left and the expanded options on the right. Not exclusive to Switch lol. They just changed the Font, names and the overall theme. If you use UA-cam for example, that runs the Android TV version on Switch, because it can't really read it as an Android tablet (due to how closed the OS is made) so it runs as the TV version does, lightweight and very limited which does not require a lot of permissions.
They should not have cancelled this device, great performance all around. Have to wait and see what Lenovo's plans are after this I guess. Maybe something better hopefully.

Huge lenovo legion fan. This was an insane find for $160. Still dont own a personal handheld myself but OLED is a must so the steam deck is out of the question. And aya neo is too much
@@duvalmadman I guess if AMOLED is that important. The difference in capability between a $400 Deck & $400 android, I'd pick capability over the Deck at that price point. Taki with the gaming space having so many handhelds as of late , why do you think noone went the xperia play route and release a phone/gaming handheld to bring us the best of both worlds in the palm of our hands ???
iReadyGo/Snail did. They're all bar shaped rather than sliders but they did release gaming phones. The last one was the Moqi i7S from a few years ago. Had a Snapdragon 710, so a tad bit slower than this and the G Cloud. It reviewed fairly well with the retro gaming youtuber community at the time I believe.
This is the first time I've heard any hesitation in your voice when doing a review, which is totally understandable. It's a shame this handheld was never released.
Are you in China (or near it) right now? Kinda amazed with that latency of 14ms for the cloud streaming service (so I am guessing that's a yes.) regardless, neat device!
Do you manage to get the second device for full teardown? I already have one (for around $140), but still curious of what's inside. If you already had another one, please do the second video of this. Thanks 🙏
OK. So, what it seems obvious to me is that Lenovo was initially the first partner of Tencent for a device like this, not Logitech. What is strange is that this one does comes with full performance, video out and has an actual game streaming service built in provided by what seems to be a Tencent partnered company. Another strange thing about it is it being modeled around the Nintendo Switch Lite. The reason why I think it never released is that Tencent scaled down their commitment to it and Lenovo pulled the plug because of that. The same thing can be seen on the Logitech G Cloud. As if it had Tencent full backing, the price would had been lower and it would have come with the long rumored Tencent Android Games And Apps International Store. Which now is unclear if they will ever release it. Lenovo did a good thing in not releasing if they did not had the full support of Tencent to make the device not more than $299. What is funny is that Logitech instead fell on the trap and released it at $399 which was a DOA strategy because of the Steam Deck and Odin Line existing. Quite sad. As in both cases, the devices would had been successful if they had worldwide availability at a $299 price.
There was a lot of Kickstarters crazy handles and they weren't doing very great. I believe as they were validating this thing and they noticed that the kickstarter's weren't doing so well that they scrapped the project in fear that it would fail.
So, basically, Lenovo was going to make a hanheld, a beancounter got cold feet and backed out after they had made a whole bunch, sold the rights back to Tencent, and Tencent reached out to Logitech with a proposal. Logitech than ran with it, locked it down, marked it up, and called it a day. I still like the G-Cloud, but man, that price...
A real handheld mystery.

It reviewed fairly well with the retro gaming youtuber community at the time I believe.
dont worry about them suing you, they wont sue you unless you specifically share the details about the device that are usually kept under wraps
Taki laughing that hard at his location joke was adorable
Edit: All of Taki's laughs are adorable
12:50 that doesn't say 20gigs free, it's 20GB used of 64GB. So basically ~40GB free.
When you watch it in 2x playback so you guarantee you get to finish the video before it gets taken down.
What is a name of this cute n64 like joy cons on your switch ? Looks amazing
The "Start" is a game streaming app from Tencent
This is the first time I've heard any hesitation in your voice when doing a review, which is totally understandable. It's a shame this handheld was never released.
Are you in China (or near it) right now? Kinda amazed with that latency of 14ms for the cloud streaming service (so I am guessing that's a yes.)
regardless, neat device!
That spent far too long in the light theme! 😓Dark Theme should be the default
Watching before Lenovo takes it down
Do you manage to get the second device for full teardown?
I already have one (for around $140), but still curious of what's inside. If you already had another one, please do the second video of this. Thanks 🙏
Tried to snag one on ebay but couldn't find one.
This honestly could've been the best handheld if they released it
good joke
Lenovo agents about to raid takis house 😭
There was a lot of Kickstarters crazy handles and they weren't doing very great. I believe as they were validating this thing and they noticed that the kickstarter's weren't doing so well that they scrapped the project in fear that it would fail.
lenovo usually has good products so I always try to use their laptops and tablets, I would have been interested in this.
With the avatar mobile game coming out and other games as well as emulation getting better I would love this. I’d even prefer it over my deck
We use a Lenovo app to update the bios for the Steam Deck running Windows.
Lenovo is really cool, superfish was a great bios inclusion
