- Fun programming sounds from scratch on my DSI Prophet 12.
No matter if you like or not the results I hope to inspire someone to create new own sounds.

Nice video - thanks for posting. I liked the way you went through the mod destinations randomly - that is a good way to look for happy accidents.

You certainly did!
Thank you!! ;)

Something about the P12 and patching. If you do latch/hold, and make changes, much of the time that's reliable. But some changes seem to need a note retrigger to be heard properly. Obviously a non repeating envelope needs a retrigger, I am not talking about that obvious thing. I think even repeating envelopes might require a new note to be heard properly. And maybe some other things. One option is to set up a simple sequence rather than using latch hold; that might work for some patches. I see you are triggering notes by hand, but for me that gets tiresome.
Hi Michael, the envelopes work in that way in P12. The "perfect synth", at the moment, do not exist for me but P12 is one of the best i know for shure.
All synths have their quirks I suspect :)
Hello. Great job !!Do you have an email address that I can use to contact you. ? Many thanks!
Sorry you lost your dog, man. :(
