  • This DIM DIY video covers the design & fabrication & Tig welding of a stainless steel exhaust. It contains a Borla ProXS muffler, dual catalytic converters, four O2 sensors, and v-band connectors.
We show the logic of our design, fabrication, and welding techniques we used, including settings for a Hzxvogen HBT-2000Pro-SD Tig Pulse welder. With it we weld 409/416 and 304 stainless steel tubing. You'll also see us using the Vevor adjustable welding table we reviewed in it.
This exhaust assembly is going into a 1980 Scout II that now has a Dodge Dakota 5.9/408 engine so it includes dual cats and four O2 sensors needed for the PCM unit.
