    My partner runs hot and damp. We've found meadowsweet and nettle tea helpful for his gout flare-ups. I knew it was cooling but thanks so much for the deep dive. Now I understand better WHY it works.

    Thank you Rosealee for being so generous with your time and knowledge! While I have the ulmaria variety in my garden, I also have the alba variety which has a pink tint to the flowers and is native to where I live in MA. Does the native variety have the same medicinal properties?? Thank you!

    Thanks for the interesting info. 🙂 Salicylic acid is also used topically as a chemical peel. 😊 It is considered extra good against acne.

    Hi Rosalie, thank you so much for the video. My father is taking a small dose of aspirin, 100mg per day following a failed femoral artery bypass. Is it safe for him to take Meadowsweet to assist with his arthritic symptoms.

      Hi, thank you for reaching out. Herbs are amazing healers and I’m sure they can help. The best first step is to see an herbal practitioner who can do a full intake and health history with your father. That way he knows the herbs he takes are going to be both safe and effective.
      Rosalee no longer does personal consultations. You can see a list of her recommended practitioners here: www.herbalremediesadvice.org/herbal-practitioners.html
      They all offer long-distance consultations and many offer low-cost or free clinics with their herbal schools.
      Wishing you and your father all the best,
      Karin Rose

    Love to U & your team,GENUINE healing lady!!... :) *Are there any herbs which can help me with surpressing my appetite/hunger pangs,etc as I have to do a "5 day water fast" for my brain fog,ultra-tiredness,etc,etc?.... :)

    • @12prettythings10
      @12prettythings10 2 місяці тому

      A water fast of that length is quite challenging, especially day 3 and beyond. I haven't done it, but I was interested in doing a longer fast and the side effects made me realize I wasn't ready for a super long fast at that time. However, I did pick up a few pointers and one was you definitely need to add magnesium, Himalayan or high quality sea salt and potassium. A pinch of Himalayan salt on the tongue can help quite a bit with fasting.
      As far as your brain fog, have you tried cutting out all gluten?
      Another thing to try could be a high quality mushroom powder supplement, I put a teaspoon in my coffee every morning. Lion's mane is a wonderful mushroom for brain fog and memory.
      Lastly, Rosemary tea . Daily. Plus it tastes good. Risalee has an episode on Rosemary on here as well as other wonderful herbs.
      A 5 day is quite a big feat, so do some more research before jumping in so you can succeed, if that's what you choose to accomplish :)
