If you were a young man growing up in the 90s and listened to Country Music, you more than likely developed a huge crush on this beautiful lady and this song. This takes me all the way back to better times and reminds of the things I should not have forgotten.
Indeed. At the time I listened to both country and hard rock/metal. A great time for BOTH genres. I think this song spent a couple, maybe 2 or 3 years bouncing around on the country charts. It was a HUGE song for her.
Going back to the golden age of CMT & TNN . Made even better with Suzy being a big part of that time in country music .Watching her vidios from this era brings all back . I would have driven just about anywhere with Suzy !
There will never be another era of country music like this again. It's really too bad CMT and other music channels strayed away from what made them great. It's like they left their roots behind. I miss TNN, frequent watcher of Wildhorse Saloon and Club Dance was it?
Elegant, classy, American values, proud of American culture. You can tell watching the video, Suzy is fun and dancing comes natural! Beautiful and also has that feminine confidence. This is America, right here. I love my country! 🇺🇸💯 American culture is nothing to be shamed into letting disappear. I’m in my 20s, and hopefully have many good years ahead of me to advocate for our culture to not be stolen.
When I first heard this song it was close to a vacation to the south I was taking ,Alabama,Tennessee etc.. and I thought it was great.GOOD song Suzy !!
My Prayers and thoughts are with you in 2012 on tour Suzy. You are without a doubt my favorite Musician and Singer of all time. May God keep you and your family in good hands this year and many to follow. I love you, I love you, I love you! Take care of you. You remind me of my girl and if you are anything like her, your husband is a very lucky man! I'm not talking dirty, just the way she loves me is really something special! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!
Suzy is and always will be one of my favorites! I used to drive down the road yodeling along with her version of "I wanna be a cowboy's sweetheart". LOL! Too funny. Funny thing is...I actually did pretty decent at it back then. LOL. But nowhere near as good as Suzy. How I miss hearing these awesome artists. They just don't get any better.
@@tiffanymorgan6562 I actually listened to Lee Ann Rines's version this morning and I like Suzy Boggus's version much better cuz it's closer to the original.

Connie Martin Because she's the wrong gender! Country music has and always have had a stigma against female singers. The programmers refuse o add their songs to play lists or given them air play at the expense of mostly untalented males.
Wow, Suzy has such a good voice. Watching this video and others, ( Letting Go, Outbound Plane for instance ), Suzy exudes femininity right through the screen. Judging by other guys comments, I believe they feel it too. I've met Suzy twice and she is a wonderful lady.
I'd love to see the original cut of Suzy and the band without all that irrelevant nonsense of automobiles, highways and splashing surf. The entire extraneous content is not worth one frame of her performing. The production team simply did not have the confidence or Balls to let it roll and print it. Great great performer - and as Sassy as you like!! ..... Love Her

mdebailes I agree, and believe me, I wish every video was just the band performing without goofy story lines and cut scenes. I was referring to the general population when I said there needs to be entertainment. People don’t have attention spans that are capable of anything besides face paced cut scenes anymore. Sad.
Back when we dated in the early 90s, she wanted a home and family. I wanted her to continue her singing career so she could afford to pay for my drug and alcohol addictions. I have been with better looking women, but they were poor.
I was an older man and already grown up and I developed a huge crush on her. Great voice, music and beauty!

"We were always looking for tuna..." Some of the best misheard lyrics in all of country music.
I don’t know what she’s saying but I think it’s supposed to be true love. It sounds like true nu or something

Thank you, Ms Bogguss
