As a big fan of the TV show My Name is Earl, this warms my cold heart. (the protagonists drive and old beaten-up El Camino) Beautiful car with a gorgeous paint job. These flames are really beautiful!
Hopefully they remembered to put a drain plug in the back , since they sealed it up ?🤔 the back end is pretty much worthless if you can’t pull the tail gate down .
Here in Australia it was know as the Holden HJ Ute (utility for U.S) Earlier models of the El Camino are based on Australia's previous production before the HQ series. These would then go on to be Exported to South Africa and some are still in the USA today but very rare. Such names of the models were the famous Kingswood and Belmont series. Few differences between the Australian production model and the El Camino but an awesome piece of history none the less!
Counts Kustoms does some nice work. I get that they have a signature style like the the guys on American chopper had but 9 out of 10 restorations gotta have flames or some goofy cartoonist flare. Some gems are best given a more Suttle dress.
As a previous owner of a real sharp 70 el camino ,what happened to the 70 el camino you bought from big Ryan, we never got to see what you did to that one,it was the episode where you bought a jeep from him & returned it because it was to rusty ,you gave him the jeep & 2500 . for it.
@@samstanton9843 Stfu coming from a guy who starts his comment off by "I'm a millionaire" then asks why money impresses people and sad...Nice try buddy..
I did a 1979 Chevy Malibu 2 Door and my finished product was sprayed Black. If I restore another then I want to do a Monte Carlo from the mid 70’ish or a 69 Chevy Camaro.
Vegas is probably the only place on earth where the flames on car are still cool. With thousands of faded celebrities and "one hit wonders" in every bar and casino. :D
Watch all new episodes of Counting Cars returning soon, and stay up to date on all of your favorite History Channel shows at history.com/schedule.
I can't wait love this show and your channel
So does that tailgate not open anymore?
@@steveskrobot9496 Correct.
YES!!!!!!!
These blokes that design, build and paint these ‘ masterpieces’ are in my mind , ‘ automotive professors’ great job . ( Dave U.K 🏴 )
Take the flames off and I think its perfect.
Take them off the hood 👍🏼
Razor is my guy from nfs mw
But it makes it go faster there aerodynamic
I was gonna say they should have "ghost" them
Ya they look hideous and weren't done properly.

Just get a subpump
Or swimming shorts
Always nice to see that the History channel no longer produces history related shows......
They are all about reality shows for almost a decade now.. They should change their name..
The cars are the history.
Really?
the El camino by far has to be my favorite muscle car ever i would love to have one as my first car
With all the flames he puts on almost every car you would think they’re all made for Guy Fieri
Cuts the couch in half, doesn't add cupholders...

Oh wow i didnt know that!
El Camino means "the road" there's a highway route in California called "El Camino real" it literally translates to the Kings road
El camino means path estrada means road... el camino real means the royal path... king is rei and royal os real
There's a hiking path in Spain called El Camino de Santiago.
Beautiful, but why weld the tail gate? Ruins the purpose.
What you gonna haul some lawnmowers around lol
It's purpose is a show car/truck NOT an actual work truck
Should have left the gate alone. That took the whole truck part out of it for me. I’d never do that to my 83
Totally agree
Phillip Martin yes I do. Couldn’t find a 79 so I got the 83. What’s funny about that?
@Phillip Martin fail to see your joke kiddo..
It's a show car. Not a car to haul a bunch of stuff away.
This is the best flame job they have ever done.
Nobody uses flames anymore
Nobody wants a welded bed
Thats why the dude walked away
The shine on that hood and flames is amazing! Thought that was Rick from Pawn stars at first, great job guys!
These guys truly do the most amazing perfect work, I admire them all. If only I had the money to ship my car to them from London England I truly would
You are such a nice guy and your crew, i love watching your work and the way you talk to people God bless you

That '75 El Camino is one fine looking ride...
That paint job is amazing
Kevin's reaction is just too priceless
I had this car, with leather snap on tarp, it was grey, the gas pedal used to stick could not stop it, it was awsome
now THAT is COOL or what👏👏👏i mean just WOW. never thought a car+truck merger would be able to look so cool
Wow...they ruined this one 😕. Leave the tailgate, no tacky flames
Tailgate for what
The flames help with horse power
tacky flames? it's just paint for design😂
That's why your not running counts kustoms no imagination
My old 76 SS had swivel bucket seats😁
I watch Counting Cars since I was a child I love this show and they have a huge fan base in India🔥🔥
That's pretty cool
Check out Leepu and pitbull
India!...I'd love to visit India
That HellCamino is a pretty sight!!!!
Perfect as it is! Stunning ride! Love the flames!
It gives me Ghost Rider vibes. I love that car. It’s soo cool.
Danny loved your work
Love the vibe of the el camino , amazing and beautiful as everything out of counts kustoms !
about 10 years ago i saw a 1970 ss el camino black with white stripes...it had a 4WD suspension..it was mint!!!
The redheaded step child of the Elcamino era.😂😂😂
Excellent paint job
These are tge best guys and a best show people..love them
Hi Karan! Thanks for watching! Subscribe to never miss a new video!
That ride does have some awesomeness...!
A opal red and purple color with some dark decals would've been my pick
👏 FLAMES 👏 ARE 👏 TACKY
I will say that as art, the flames are fantastically well done, but God flames on a car is just so cheesy and juvenile.
They look awesome on the car love the flames
😍😍😍😍 nice modified love el camino card
Love the flames.
That's a sweet ride

73 to 77 cheville Malibu el co meneo and monte Carlo are under rated af
I do agree with One thing,I think it's nice in black 🤯🥰🥰🥰🥰 but the flames 🤔 whether I like or not I like this car
3:33 wow!
Absolutely stunning, but it needs an emblem in the grill! If I was the Count, I would keep that one!
Danny should do more ElCos
Nice truck but getting a little wore out on the black out every thing, call me old school, I love my chrome!😁
i definitely feel the same way , the chrome gives it the real 70s muscle look
Car ain’t cool if the chrome don’t shine.
Yes me too !
And he could have left out the flames...
El Camino is life yo.
The El Camino was originally classified as a sports truck.
Poor Danny so stuck in the past.
Sam Stanton
RIGHT?!
Frisbe I’m a millionaire to but that’s besides the point. I guess money impresses u. Sad.
Frisbe what does money have today’s custom cars
@@samstanton9843 Stfu coming from a guy who starts his comment off by "I'm a millionaire" then asks why money impresses people and sad...Nice try buddy..
@@samstanton9843 I'm a thousonaire, beat that buddy ..
That's cool! The mullet of muscle cars!
Maybe its just me. But flames cheapen any car you put them on. Might as well put autozone stickers on it.
Nice HQ Holden
Interior is beautiful! Not a fan of the flame job
Love El caminos but why weld the tail gate
You think they’re gonna load stuff into the bed of that baby?
Danny does that a lot with trucks and the like. He makes them more hot-rod, Hot Wheels types than workman's rides.
I think so you cannot open it
Just some pin stripes would have been better than the flames...it looks high school cheesy
Nice ride
Very nice I would love that in a 72
Sugar bear is the spot light

I'm 40. I wish I had a car to work on
Exactly, I dont like the flames but count is a straight up salesman
Cool guys 🤘🤘
💜🔥Chevrolet 350 crate motor will forever be king.
That paint jobs awesome love the flames
Ewww.....
I this car ,and paint job is awesome, ❤🥰🔥🔥thn classic cars always beautiful, and build a perfect option to custom build ,,gorgeous
nobody is not gonna beat cleetus McFarland's elco.. mullet 🤟
Take the flames off the hood...the rest of the flames look sic!!!💜💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
In Australia we call that a Ute
I never knew they could haul as much weight as an s10. That's crazy
Amazing car 😎👌
That's beautiful car.
those flames are the best i have seen on a vehicle the only thing i would chance is i would have had black rims
Wish I had the money for help on my 72 el camino. But I want to build it myself
This iconic muscle car is on my all time "want list"
el camino...wow... I kinda like it flat dark grey for a minute. I bet that baby moves too. nice choice
Counts Kustoms is a business of value not price. Like an Art Gallery.
Flames looks good
I love this show
I agree flames are all wrong with this one , maybe a brandywine with flake.
This car screams mullet, beers and domestic abuse
And I love it
Those flames are BAD!!
See ? - Some body work , a little paint , - and someone ends up with a reeeeeeeeeeeal shitbox.
hi from algeriq
Great job on the flames , but I am not a fan . All black and I'm all in , awesome car .
Danny is a good guy,,,cool
I don't know why you like to weld the tailgates kind of defeats the purpose of the vehicle
Awesom car. The flames are a little much though.
Absolutely gorgeous
Denny baba you king of cars
The sedan front end is a wrong statement. They look similar but they do not interchange. They are different.
Vegas is probably the only place on earth where the flames on car are still cool. With thousands of faded celebrities and "one hit wonders" in every bar and casino. :D
Where you still see plaid golf pants, floods shiny white florsheim shoes and white sox lol. 70s never died out there
I had a 68 with 327, 4 banger, headers & 3/4 cam... Why didn't the interior guy just put buckets in it?
The El Camino wasn't discontinued in the 80's. It's still made in Australia as the Holden Ute. They aren't imported into the US. Thanks.
Is there any problem with Danny eyes?
@@freerideforever888 What's that?
should of had blue flame but still a beauty
Is that bill goldberg
