Love your hair tips, keep doing the ones for short limp hair and hair products to get the volume!! Something that will hold when working out, sweating and humidity. I just wish I could have you style my hair and show me how!!
I really like Garnier Fructis De-Constructed Texture Tease spray. It is like a teasing powder, but in a spray form. For me, it is easier to use and apply evenly, I just spray it on my roots where I want volume after I've blow dried and curled my hair. Plus, it's around $4. I love the short fluffy messy looks! Your channel has been so great at helping me love my pixie cut. Thank you! 💜
you can also crimp the roots of your hair in the under layers and then break up the crimp with your fingers to create volume - I have a mini crimper which is great for this!
+DB Yes! I don't have one but have heard of a lot of people doing that for long lasting volume. I probably a bit too lazy for that if I'm being honest. LOL. But thanks for sharing. Great idea. XO
rakesfunnyfarm A mini one, I'm not sure what the brand is I think Babyliss. It's narrower than a regular one rather than travel-sized. This makes it easier to just crimp a small amount at the root. I got mine second hand from ebay. It's important to leave the very top layer of hair uncrimped to hide it of course 😊 There are YT videos which I'm sure you've found already. Good luck! xx
+TheShadowgal1 Oh, thank you so much. Def time for a trim, but I am really having a more fun than I thought with this length and I know it's because I finally found the perfect product cocktail for my hair.
I love this and the pixie on you. Please tell me...Would the cut you have now work on baby fine thin hair with all the volume boosters you've mentioned, or should I go for the pixie? Remember...I have baby fine, thin hair.
love and thanks for your great hair ideas..i have "new" post chemo hard to manage hair..i miss my old hair that would do anything...i'm def going to try these products..by the way..love you..
+Peggy Allen I have heard that happens. That can be hard when you are used to styling something completely different. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help.
+Sherry Thompson I have naturally fine hair. Always have. But these products have really helped me get more 'style' our of my limp, fine hair. Love that you use them too.
I loveeee your video I had my pixie around that time u did and now that it's growing out I don't know what to do with it lol but thanks to you I have so many ideas you are awsome
+Cyndi Ploegman You wish is my command, but mostly because I already filmed it. ha I will be posting it soon. Can't wait! Thanks for being so patient with me.
oh how I've missed Whippy Cake hair videos. I'm growing out my pixie, at a short bob just now, not as long as yours yet. Are you going pixie again or sticking with the bob? x
+Suzanne McColl This is pretty long, def needed a trim but life gets busy. I am sticking with this #boxie length for now... not ready to go back to a pixie just yet but I know I will someday. There is just so much I loved about a pixie. I hope you find some good style inspo on here for your longer length. Thanks for watching.
just had to add a heads up about the rat tail comb which looks fantastic, $52 to purchase one single come in Canada. If anyone knows of another vendor can you share?
+Tanya Kucey An updated 360 look? I can def do that! And as for the teasing comb, you don't need one as fancy as mine. I have seen very affordable teasing combs in a similar style but made of plastic. That will still get the job done.
+Christine Roche Thanks, there are days when I miss it too. But I really love styling this longer length for right now. I hope to do more Pixie Parades so you guys can still get your pixie fix. Xo
+whippycake that would be great. I have my hair a little longer now and I"m getting ready to cut it again (longer pixie) I want to join your pixie parade.
+Leigh Saldivar Honestly the top knot/mini bun was my go to while my bangs got longer. I would only trim up the back until the tops and sides could catch up. Here is a link to a tutorials. -> ua-cam.com/video/utNL4FWpjKw/v-deo.html I also will twist my bangs out of my face too so here is a second tutorial to change it up. -> ua-cam.com/video/o_l2FjJKhxQ/v-deo.html

+dollyrocker40 Nope. This is all mine. Do you have extensions? I would love to know what brand everyone is trying. I might experiment before going pixie again.
Any help you can give would be appreciated!! I see styles that I really like but when I try to style my hair, it never turns out like the one I chose - even after I watch the video!! PS: I will always appear as Thomas Herring but I am Gail!!
+MiiaVita I have a brand new tutorial coming up soon. Make sure to subscribe and you will get to see it before I even announce it on Instagram. Thanks for the question. Love it! XOXO

"This comb has different variations of bristles". News flash. Combs don't have bristles, hair brushes do.
