I am growing out a pixie right now and am in the awkward length phase, these are super helpful in hiding that weird length! Keep doing what you're doing!
Thank you so much for this video I was about to give up on what products to use in my hair because my hair is growing out and I need new ways of styling it. this video was very informative and I'm excited to try some of these products!
Zarah S P Awe, thank you for taking the time to leave this comment. You inspire me to create new content. Have some more fun pixie styles coming your way THIS WEEK. Thank you so much for watching! XOXO
I LOVE this. I just found you last night (looking for a new pixie style) and i love love love all the tips/tricks you have. I am letting my hair grow out a bit to cut it more like i had it before, with a longer pixie in front and shorter in the back/sides.
Thank you so much for this awesome video! My pixie cut is about the length of yours, and I have trouble finding awesome tutorials for cute styles for longer-ish pixies, and this was perfect! :)
Thanks for the product suggestions. I have a super short pixie (almost Emma Watson short) and super thick... do you have any tutorial suggestions? Thanks for much. And I love that you just partnered with 31 bits :)
Love all your hair tips for styling products also. I noticed in several videos that you are wearing beautiful colorful floral printed tops. I love them. Can you advise where to purchase them please?
Thank you! I am glad you enjoy my videos. That makes me SO happy! I used each product to create a different look, so they were used one after another. Hope this helps answer your question! Can't wait to see what you think of my next video!
I'm growing out my pixie mostly the sides and I need to find a texture product when my hair is wet. My hair is not very textured, need a hair cut and razor does not texture my hair well. This picture is an old one. Thanks for the tips.
Great video. Plus your others too. I'm 51 with short hair because it is fine and thin. You are helping me style it so that I feel like the beautiful woman I am. One question - I have a busy job, on my feet all day. My hair goes flat half way through my day. Any suggestions?
Thank you for the great feedback! Glad I can help you. Definitely try a spray wax instead of your ordinary hairspray. I like Bed Heads spray wax, as well as Paul Mitchels. Also, Try some products that will give your hair grit and volume, here are some of my favorites that will help keep your hair rocking all day! bit.ly/1lfkFJh bit.ly/MFxZMi
this tutorial is great! i have a quick question though, with the big boost creme which gives you volume and texture, what is the purpose of the powder play?
Love your videos and you're a great teacher! How would you describe your hair texture? Mine is straight, fine, thin, flat and growing out from a pixie. I think it's long enough for a tousled, messy look, but I don't know how to get it. I currently use tresemme volumizing mousse, and sexy hair big and sexy spray and play harder hairspray. I have (but dont how to use): sexy hair what a tease backcomb in a bottle, and bed head manipulator. I have never used a flat iron, but have all sizes of curling irons. What do you suggest? Thank you!
40 4ever So glad you like my videos! I have very thin and straight hair. I would definitely recommend using a straight iron, as that is what I have found that works best for a tousled and messy look. Watch this video to see how! How to Curl Pixie Hair
+Deborah Rodriguez I heard from a friend on Facebook that it was discontinued...RIP Spoil Me. So I have been using the Naissant Argan Oil Elixir: bit.ly/1KKBE3g in the am to help brush out my bed head. It helps get rid of the frizz without being greasy or heavy. Here's the thing, they are repacking the product so it's not available again until the end of October. Yikes. If you can't wait until then, I found Spoil Me on Walmart.com and Drugstore.com, so stock up.
is your pixie just a long banged one or a grown out one? i'm jealous of yours! i just got a pixie today because i loved yours, and i also love mine. i just wish it looked like yours!
Hey there :) can you suggest anything on how to control a cow lick? I have a pixie cut (a bit longer on the sides at the moment.. that is being cut soon!) but i have a very stubborn cow lick on the left side .. my bangs are about the same length as yours... i've tried many different blow drying techniqes and product to chill it out :) half way through my day it just ends up parting... :( any tips?! THANKS AND I LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS!
Christine Forbes Hi there! My best advise for a cow lick would be to have your stylist help you pick a hair style that fits to your natural part. They can be a pain but if you pick the right style, you can work around them! Best of luck, xoxo
Christine Forbes i have three cowlicks. One in the front and two in the back. I have bangs that flow the opposite direction of my cowlick. As long as you blow dry the hair the direction you want it to go along with brushing it that way as you dry it will "learn" to sit that way. Also products help pull the hair in the direction you want it to go.
I love this video, that's me, short sexy hair in a couple of minutes, got the root powder, love it, now must try the others. Thanks. Looking forward to more videos. :)
I love your videos, after my catastrophe of a haircut its nice to know theres your vids out there that help with the things our stylists dont to tell you or show u. But, I must ask, your eyes are VERY red....why?
+Raven Young Thank you so much for watching my vids! I am so happy they are helping with your hair adventures. :) So my eye situation is actually chronic dry eyes and it suuuucks. Plus I live in Arizona which is like the driest place ever. Meh.
Only Rita Hayworth and Katherine Hepburn from 1940s Hollywood could pull off the full wave of luxuriant dipping low over her eye. Everyone else just looks ridiculous!
I am growing out a pixie right now and am in the awkward length phase, these are super helpful in hiding that weird length! Keep doing what you're doing!
