@@zacreviews7653 how did you get the pipe mount?

Right on, get that dish lifted off your roof now! I bought the pipe adapter one and used one of my old Bell Expressvu Satellite dish arms.

Roger... that's exactly what I'm planning. Any issues attaching to the J arm of the old dish mount?

@@DonJoyce Hey Don, how's it going! Nice meeting you! Where you at? No there's zero issues mounting it to a J-Arm but you have to use the optional "Pole Mount Adapter Kit" Starlink sells because the standard J-Arm and Starlinks pole are almost near the same diameter meaning both just butt together. There's ways to Jerry-Rig the connection such as using say a muffler clamp, slip ring etc or Mig Welding I suppose if you get into it.
Otherwise if you mount it to an existing arm that is attached to the side of your home you'll have to move the out on an angle from it's current verticle position to allow for the Dish in its Stow position from factory not to touch the side of your house. Stow position is it's flat horizontal position, also you'll definitely have to remount your old Satellite TV J-Arm if it is attached to your house now because Starlink needs to be placed pointing to the North Sky whereas every traditional position this far for anything Terrestrial needed mounts to face the Southern Sky (at least for us people living in the Northern Hemisphere).
When are you getting your Dish Don? Wouldn't mind hearing from you...
Never mind I subbed to your Drone Channel.. Nice.

Same case, I did the order 3 weeks ago, I’m not sure when they going to send it.. but I’m planning to use the old dish pole and I can’t find where can I order the pipe adapter, can you help me with this..?

I received my starlink, but the pole adaptor is 5-6 weeks out. I'm going to pre dig for a pole.
Does anyone know the proper height a pole should be to be stable? I'm in the middle of a hay field. and the winds can be brutal. I'm afraid the pole will rock over 4 feet?
Also which material would you recommend for the pole?
I'm second guessing my decision and thinking of concreting in four treated 4X4 posts and making a strong top and bolting the tripod mount which comes with it.
I cant find any directions for mounting options from Starlink.

So if you have a 12/12 pitch roof your dish is sitting at 45 deg. I don't think that will work on a slanted roof. Who has a flat roof house :(.

What are the dimensions on the pipe mount? I see one end is larger than the other.
