Oh wow! This is incredible. I adore old houses and this is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. So tasteful and elegant and still so inviting and homey. I love the sound of creaking floors lol. This is a real treasure for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Sarah, this is the most beautiful tour I've seen! The attention to detail is superb! What a peace filled place! If I ever can, I hope to stay there. Awww I LOVED it!!! It is such a beautiful house and the Cashells have done such a spectacular job of reclaiming the house's grandeur, but also allowing it to reside in this time as well with incorporating the modern conveniences that we've come to expect in this century, so people can enjoy the history of it with the comforts as well. It is a magical place surrounded by the serene, and I do mean, serene, beauty of nature that calms your spirit and speaks to the soul. I can't wait for the next Bespoke Retreat, so I can go back. PS I loved the old school, farmhouse cottage we stayed in but isn't in this video and I highly recommend it as well.
Next year we will have to film the cottage, as well!

Stunning! I’ll have to go there someday! The staircase reminds me of Paris! I loved the Fox hunt decor and the black velvet riding helmet on the armoire. I’ve ridden English my entire life and keep my old riding helmet on our armoire in the foyer. I’m so thankful you shared this tour! Thank you for the inspiration!

Ohhh wow what an absolutely stunning place!! Every room, every piece.. just breathtaking! And I got a bit excited, its really kinda funny, but that last bedroom with the twin beds and fox sheets..i actually have that exact same set of sheets for my bed (with size though) They were actually in a large box of sheets that was donated to the thrift store my husband & I own. We get donations from left over estate sales and these were from a very large, old home. But they are really very pretty and very luxurious, just super nice quality. I love the linens that come from estates!

I have an ornate bed like that and it is hard to style the bedding (comforter in particular). The headboard itself is ornate, so the bedding can't compete, and it's old so I don't feel that geometrics compliment it. Would love your take on how to style an ornate bed!
I would just steer away from patterns and colors, lots of creamy white layers are best.
@@SheHoldsDearly I'm looking for a fluffy comforter with a ruffle. Maybe a subtle jacquard pattern.
Beautiful video. I’m in awe of the West African artisans and craftsmen who built the Madison family home brick by brick. They deserve the credit. As I watch this, I mourn their suffering and applaud their fierce determination to survive the unspeakable cruelty. They must never be forgotten. Thanks for the beautiful tour.
My heart is also pleased to witness that this home and property have been redeemed of its past and is used today to set people free on so many levels. To see it used correctly speaks to the hope that mankind can indeed heal from terrible injustices.
Beautiful!!!!! I have a question, I was looking to reserve a room for my birthday and they averaged about $240/night. However, the Conway Suite on the 1st floor is $2,000 per night and I dont see much of a difference in amenities. What am I missing??
Hmmm, I'm not sure what you are looking at. There is no Conway Suite and none of the rooms are $2,000 a night. Will you post a link here?
