I retired when I was 63. I was able to qualify for the ACA to hold me over until I’m 65 & have Medicare. My cost is $273.00 a month. I have zero deductible & haven’t paid much out of pocket. I have medical, dental, vision & prescription coverage. I’m extremely grateful that I have this coverage! I know a lot of people out there feel that the ACA isn’t good.

The reason the ACA is not very good is because it had to be watered down so much before it would pass a Republican house. You can. Thank Mitch McConnell for that. He blocked in every way he could everything Obama wanted to do. The entire so-called health care industry and insurance industry in this country is a complete and total mess.
It helped me tide the gap after I was divorced and lost healthcare through my husband. Don't know how I could have afforded COBRA - I barely made ends meet during that time.
