    I like it, you were kind in proposing this. I did this project too, but I used the 24v leds directly without removing the resistors, but I added a small 2Ah "STEP UP" circuit, so as to maintain 23 volts continuous. 23 volts, so I don't overheat the LEDs inside the body. The battery discharge can drop below 19 volts. So I had a constant brightness independent of battery volts.

    Appears to be a practical and versatile lighting solution for a variety of applications. The touch button feature allows for easy operation and the integrated battery provides convenience and portability. Overall, this product seems to offer a great combination of functionality and ease of use. 👏

    For the next project, consider creating a 20v to 12v battery Parkside adapter, for anyone wanting to power their "12vteam" Parkside tools with "20v team" Parkside batteries.
    (requirements: a 3D printed adapter, a step-down converter able to accommodate high amps and your ingenuity!!!)

    Extremely clever and I hope some manufacturers will adopt it but what about the heat?

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  Рік тому +2

      At maximum power, it heats up a little more, so it is recommended to work on the first and second stage.

    Very nice idea. I think it is not necessary to remove the resistors and even better to keep them. They protect the LED's from overcurrent and increase the LED's livespan and efficiency. A fully charged battery could be close to 21V, there hopefully is some loss in the switch otherwise you could have up to 3,5V per led and that will make them short lived.

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  Рік тому +3

      I wouldn't remove them, but they lights very dimly at 24V mode.

      You should replace resistors, not removing. (Ucc-ULed)/ILed and you have resistance. You can’t remove resistors only you need to recalculate new value. You will degrade leds quickly.

    Hello, Do you have a dewalt one or a Ryboi version? Also I was wondering are they longer screws at the end when you was closing up the lid, What size are they screws?

    • @ErCanEverything

      I don't have 3D file for Ryobi or Dewalt but I used the same screws from a 4Ah battery, just replace the bottom cover from a 2Ah one.
