I LOVE all of Shantotto's on-screen time just because of her dialogue. I know people might find the rhyming annoying, but it's my favorite thing about her. That, and her evil sounding laugh.

The translators at Squeenix NA basically said "Yeah, there's no way we can make that sound good without her basically saying 'thee' and 'thou' all the time, so we'll make her speak in rhyme.'

Shantotto has attained ascension from her mere startings as a quest npc fortune teller in a small unknown but probably greatest mmoRPG of its time FF:XI. She has crossed into various universes of Final Fantasy and a chosen fighter of the Light. Every now and then she drops by in XIV as well.

She seems quite overpowered in this game through the many spells she launches at the opponent. Her Ex Burst is called “Play Rough” which implies she becomes so powerful she basically is bullying her opponents. Yet for some reason, she’s still ranked one of the lower tiered characters in the game
I think she's trying to come to terms with what happened to Gabranth that was so bad that he is ABSOLUTELY GONE after the last cutscene. The things she must have seen...
I see that you are a dedicated Shantotto fan, I must say that is quite delightful, as I too am her stan! She may well be my best character in Dissidia NT, When I play as her, I assail my foes until they turn tail and flee!

I'd say she's more like an odd mix of Zecora and Trixie, having Zecora's rhyming speech pattern and Trixie's arrogance and humongous ego, yet she's the size od a Cutie Mark Crusader.
With the power level of OG 1980's Tirek, Hydia and her daughters, OG Somnambula, Celestia, Luna, Discord, all the Elements, the OG Rainbow of Light.. multiplied by perhaps a million. And that's not a stretch, considering what she's done in canon FF.
