The same GPU was just sent back and still failed to boot in the system both times. Gigabytes response to both users third rma request or return/refund.......... No response at all😂 Gigabyte "the dust"!
I got the h510 elite. It's about time nzxt comes up with the case they should have released 2 years ago. The airflow on that case is up there now. Shame they didn't do that sooner.
Glad to see a build with the Arc A770. I hope to see more builds, but it doesn't seem like many people want to consider it right now. Still only really seeing AMD and NVIDIA builds, but I feel like the Arc cards will age like a fine wine.

Nobody should buy these GPUs. Wait for the better models to come out in the years to come. There is no early adoption advantage. You will just sit and watch your friends have better gaming performance on their equivalent Nvidia and radeon cards.

I was a bit worried about the longevity of my 850w PSU, until I saw the one you went with. But since I have the same CPU and I'm going with an arc card I should be set. Don't go too heavy on rgb and fans!

You need to make an updated video with this graphics card on its latest drivers. I can tell you the very latest drivers from a week ago broke my Halo Infinite game (again), and won't let me load up a multiplayer game, AND it's telling me that Resizable Bar isn't enabled, when in fact, it absolutely is. Newest drivers are buggy as hell, so I rolled back the drivers to the previous version. However, I still can't get into a game.

If the PSU is upside down for airflow, and everyone does it, why don't the manufacturers put the sticker on the other way up? Do the manufacturers recommended not having upside down hence the sticker?
just depends on the case since there are some that have the vents on top and some have vents on the bottom theres no really negative effects unless u put it to where the fan is facing down and the case vent is on top
I’m aiming for a build capable of 4K, so Intel Arc definitely isn’t the play for me (got my eyes on the 7900 XTX unless the 4080 16GB has something to say about that). But it’s still a very solid card at 1440p, it seems! PC also looks pretty nice with the black and white theming.
FYI if you have an ARC GPU with a Zen 4 CPU, THERE IS A BUG! For some reason this combination doesn't recognize ReBAR even tho the board (AM5 ASRock B650 Riptide PG) and CPU (AMD Zen 4 7600x) support it and it's enabled in the BIOS. I also have an ASRock Arc A770 OC 8GB GPU. I opened a ticket with ASRock and they were able to recreate the issue in their lab. They have in turn notified Intel, but who knows when a fix will surface. If you were thinking about coupling AM5 with Arc, be wary guys!
I have the same board and chip with an intel a770 limited edition (not the asrock a770) and rebar enables without a problem. Makes for a nice little 1440p gaming system
Asrock do some interesting looking products, but for blacklisting reviewers the likes of GamersNexus and Hardware Unboxed, I just never buy their products.
i ordered one A770 LE because for that price it don´t have much competition for me RT is not a big problem for that card and also have a solit computing power for science projects and it can run some games unlike nvidia tesla or radeon instinct (yes that card is much better i know but don´t have cooling fans so you can´t cool it properly in common pc case) so i am really excited and i am sure the problems with optimization and drivers will be better in the future so for a first gen graphics cards it looks insane

You don't necessarily need any fancy toolkit. Any decent kit that has an assortment of screwdrivers is generally more than good enough for most PC builds. A phillips #2 screw driver is usually the only main screw driver you need.
Yes it, will be the best value to performance CPU. Paired with A770 you have a very capable 1440p PC that will last a good few years. At 1080p it will last forever.

So, while you're undeniably right, I'm not convinced that the extra cost is worth my replacing 4TB of HDD with SSDs. (Besides, I mostly use them as backup storage. Camera/Phone, cloud, and desktop. I use my desktop as a server as well as a client, but even if I could convince the lady of the house to allow an always on server, it would still be HDD based for file serving.)
I'm impressed with this for a mid-range build. More competition is always a good thing, so I hope Intel continues to improve.

i think it does to, came really close to getting one for my new build i did this week. but ended up going with the Fractal Air Pop. So glad i did.

That motherboard box is massive :D The board looks cool too, I'm planning on a white themed build, this one might be the one.
Performance will improve as drivers mature....very happy with my card and look forward to seeing it stretch it's legs in a year or so.
Something is off. The stats on the side show high fps but in some of the games showed it looks like its not even hitting 30fps.
The recording was a bit off here - I need to look into it - but fps is actually slightly lower than life (when NOT recording)

didnt watch the full but intel gpu depends on resizable bar to be on. if it misses it, there is a huge performance loss with stutter in game too
I'm actually pretty happy that Asrock is doing the ARC gpu's, they build some of the best hardware.
1440p got 84 fps, 1080p got 89. Thats odd

It's a bug. With intel's performance panel on top right the game is fixed to one resolution or something. Should be fixed soon.

What is the total price
That PC will never even reach 125W for the cpu during gaming. There are workloads (and benchmarks) that can push way past that, but not games.

The only thing about ARC GPUs is that Intel needs to work on the drivers.

You CAN use DDR4 with Intel 13th Gen. You will have to look at your motherboard's specs to see if they support DDR4 or DDR5, however.

I would disable CSM. In most instances, you don't need BIOS mode.
