I never edit the noise, in fact this is why I do not use an externa microphone. The mic on the camera picks up background noise which I prefer.

6 months here 6 months back home never get bored you get bored in england you jump on a plane and come up here but are the live centers close bye with piacas busling life near these houses because then they are very worthy

Love your videos! I wish you would mention what options for internet connections are available for properties you review. Like speeds and ballpark prices maybe? It is probably a crucial detail for a lot of people nowadays.
This town has fibre optics at around €25 per month
you could make the downstairs lounge a bedroom and block off with a door...and make the hallway between the bathroom and bedroom upstairs a lounge area--this would facilitate two bedrooms

David, this is a screaming deal however there’s still the car situation. The fact you have to be a resident to own a car is ridiculous. And of course, getting residency is no small feat. Not having a car in these small towns is not convenient and blocking a lot of sales. Bummer 😢
Other EU countries may have more relaxed rules on car ownership…..worth checking out.
Non-residents with holiday homes in small towns routinely drive rental cars as needed.

You can buy obviously you can’t live there permanently. You’ll have to go there with a travel visa, like a normal foreigner.

As a Brit you can buy as a holiday home, as an Australian ou would need to move here with a visa. If you want to retire as a Brit and move here then thanks to Brexit you would need an elective visa residency, your loca consulate will be able to give you details of what is needed.
I would say to any of you, it MUST be Italy!!! There's no other place like it.

Remarkable value. It wouldn’t put me off as it is no doubt fixable but has anyone actually used the bathroom? There doesn’t appear to any way you could sit normally on that toilet with the shower mini wall there.

A lot of properties? How many? Considering there are a lot of houses in the area I think the percentage for sale will be somewhere around .025% maximum!

You can buy as an American but obviously if you’re on a tourist visa, you have to go back and forth between Italy and the US.
@thehungrygoldfish does it have to be America can you just go to Germany or some other country and then come back after a few days.
@@davidparrish3538 I can't remember off the top of my head the exact number but there's a maximum amount of days you can spend in one country in a certain time period, so it would be more than a few days, but sure, you can country hop. =p
How far is it from Rome ?
3 hrs+/_ by car depending on traffic, or (more cheaply) grab an xpress bus from Fiumicino or Tiburtina station for €14 - €21 to Pescara Centrale and pickup rental car at train station and 30min +/_ you're there. My daughter did the €14 bus at 815 am from Tiburtina bus station this past Thursday and was in Pescara at 10:30 to be picked up by relatives.

As a New Zealander you would not be able to buy as a holiday home since NZ stopped Italians and others buying holiday homes there a few years ago. But with an EU passport you can with no problem at all.
Sorry, it's 15% total, which means about €5000 not including realtor and legal fees. So I would say it's closer to €7500
