When times were simpler. The nostalgia is overwhelming. I played this console for like 7 years when I was a kid. Best sound ever really brings you back to a better period in your life. Your whole childhood just flashes before your eyes. I used to spend a lot of time on this system. From Sly & Cooper to Ratchet & Clank to Tekken to Toy Story 2 to FIFA to Guitar Hero. Good times. 10/10 startup sound. Red screen of death was lit too. PS2 was like the vastness of the unknown so mysterious but captivating. Seeing those 4 different lights floating and then the cubes is just so memorable. Then the Playtstation2 logo pops up oh beautiful. Every kid must have had fond memories of this console it was so good.
I’m 28 years old now and I had so many memories with both the PlayStation 2 and the 3 as well. Never got to play on a PS1 (still haven’t ever seen one in person) but the first 3 PlayStation consoles have the best startups. They actually also have the PS1 and PS2 startups available on iTunes Store for the ringtones.
@@lakerskid2013 I feel like PS4 is the most peaceful one. You just feel calmness and easiness listening to it and seeing the blue beautiful background. PS5 is very soothing too. PS3 is very short orchestra but PS2 is very mysterious but nostalgic. I would say PS1 is nostalgic too but it's very short kind of like PS3. So if I had to put them in order it would be PS2>PS4>PS5>PS1>PS3. Love the symphony sound effect in 3 but it's not really that memorable in my humble opinion.

When i was little, I had a dream about a monster chasing me through my empty school. As i hid in one of the classrooms, the monster busted open the door. It knew exactly where i was hiding (under a table) and as I saw it coming towards me, it opened it's mouth, only for the 0:02 to come out of it.
