    Just found your video and found it very helpful. Thank you. Would be great if it also included the beginning and end of each row to confirm placement for first and last stitches.

    I like how you hold and use your crochet hook. You make it look so easy and comfortable. You have smooth hand movements.

    Wow! Lion Brand outdid themselves with this color yarn! Love it! Thanks for showing an easy way to do this stitch. I'm a beginner and need it to be simple, but I think I could do this no problem. Thank you!

    HI Tamara- thanks for posting. This was informative and easy to follow. I've been searching the web for a video or instruction that demos this stitch and yours is the best yet. I only have one question, do you make a turning chain at the end? I am assuming a single crochet but wanted to make sure. Off to try it now so I may end up answering my own question. lol.

      +K Cicinelli It will depend on the pattern, but generally speaking yes, I'd still use a turning chain. :) Thank you!

      I agree! I've been watching these videos, and they explain what the stitch is, then when it comes to demonstrating how to do it, you can't see what they're doing, so you don't know where they're moving to! This is the first one I've seen where the explanation of where to place one's hook, and where to pull the yarn through, is actually not just clearly explained but also clearly demonstrated. Thank you! And I also had the question about turning (I had hoped the demonstration would go to the end of the row and show the row change, but it's okay), so thanks for asking, and thanks Tamara for answering as best as you could!

    Tamara did I miss the multiple for the foundation row count. I assume 2 for sc and first stitch in 2nd chain from hook? I like the density. Two color carry change would be quit cool carried up the side. Ye or Neh? Thx Missy.

    i love it but it would be a little helpful if you showed us how to the start the waistcoat stitch from the beginning as in chaining sixteen or something and then showing us how to do the waistcoat stich from there without upside-down v's already there overall nice video

    Hi, I'd like to know how to start this stitch. Does it start with a row of single crochet after the foundation chain?

    • @mooglyblog
      @mooglyblog  7 років тому +3

      Yes, the first row would just be standard single crochet. :)
