Dr.Berg, I am suggesting your cook to add in sesame oil at the end and use shallots instead of white onions. By adding these two ingredients will elevate the fragrance and the taste. I usually would mix in a tiny sprinkle of xylitol once plated, but while still hot.
It depends on what kind of fried rice you are going to make. This recipe pretty much like how I usually make my fried rice(Thai style) and I do use white onion. I will give it a try with a baking process. Using sesame oil at the end will give you a nice flavour of Korean style dish. The only thing I was wondering about is adding bean spouts because we usually use bean sprouts with noodles not with rice. But I will give it a try.
I tried this recipe last night with Skinny Pasta Rice instead of cauliflower. Sorry, enough already w/cauliflower 🙄...... added a touch of sesame oil and amped my ginger up some more. It was AMAZING 💥, better than the restaurants'

It’s not good by itself but it’s so amazing when u make things with it like risotto, pizza, jambalaya, Mexican dirty rice & now fried rice ! I make everything with it & no one ever complains in my house, in fact they love it.

We first made it for breakfast. 😂 Waaay better than rice! We made it vegetarian all 3 times but it would be really good with pork or shrimp! I may go make it again! Comfort food goodness! I guess soy sauce is replaced with liquid aminos? Is liquid aminos better than organic soy sauce? (salt content). What about adding a little sesame oil for a more authentic taste?
I maid my version of this without carrot, green onions and replaced the coconut aminos with bone broth and the eggs are adding so much to this dish..really

I actually checked to see if there was a typo or a difference between the amount of salt and pepper listed on the video compared to the amount of salt and pepper listed in the recipe. They both said 1 tablespoon of salt and a half tablespoon of pepper. It was so salty and peppery that I actually rinsed it in very hot water and drained it before I added in the eggs, green onions, and some chicken. The amino‘s added plenty of salt. I will probably try 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper next time. I can always add more if that isn’t enough.
I did make it again using 1 teaspoon of salt rather than 1 tablespoon and 1/2 teaspoon pepper rather than 1/2 tablespoon. It was excellent. I forgot to try the sesame oil suggestion. I will do that next time. I am so amazed how the cauliflower rice mimics rice so well. Since being diagnosed with prediabetes, rice has been the savory thing I have missed the most. Especially fried rice. Now I can have fried rice whenever I want.

Looks tasty. The way Dr Berg has his fork ready from the get go 🤣 I’m one of those people that are very salt sensitive. Adding just a bit of salt results in swollen feet and ankles. There’s more than enough salt content in food without adding more.
I have a question, just got diagnosed with Hoshimotos and I was wondering I am so pose to not have gluten and I am low carb. It hard to do both because a lot of gluten free is high carb. Any suggestions?
I have Hashi's too. I am not a medical expert. The diets I have found that have worked for me are autoimmune paleo and even better ketogenic diet. I find it easy to avoid gluten if you are only shopping the outskirts of the store. I hope you find relief. Hashis has a mind of its own and you need to find your triggers.
Cauliflower may be low in carbs but it causes bloating in the lower intestines because it is one of the foods high in fibre which is attacked by certain bacteria causing it to ferment. Please do a little research into this.
There is no way to mess up this recipe. I did everything wrong or backwards and it was still delicious! I also used sesame oil. Thank you so much!

Have you tried Jicama? I don't like califlower, and jicama is a good substitute.

A tip for seasoning, not necessarily to follow the recipe and add it to your liking.
