Brilliant I knew the part after watching this to take off cleaned it ! My son had washed a coconut hair mat "don't ask me why " and it clogged all that pipe up. Also he was £1.41 up after it fell out the pipe. I wouldn't be keen on doing it again it was a bloody nightmare to do.
Great video. Was able to detach the drain hose from the pump without undoing the pump, and just visible, 5cm inside, was a 5p coin completely blocking the hose! Was just able to reach it with a pair of long nose pliers. Thank you.

Tried all of that. Fitted a new pump, new water inlet valve, cleaned the outlet and sump hoses. All good. Still get an E18 just before the cycle finishes. The machine fills and empties fine at the start of the program, just never managed to complete the program? Any ideas before it goes in the skip, with some expensive new parts!
I was getting an E2 error even after checking that the pump and filter were clear. I blew hard into the drain hose and a whole lot of gunk emptied into the filter. That cleared the blockage and the machine works fine now. Also, check the drain pipe connection to the S-Bend (if you have that setup), as I once had a blockage at the drain pipe connection to the S-bend.

Hi George, if the impellor is stuck and not moving, try to ensure any obstruction to it is removed, if it is clear of obstruction then it sounds like it is a faulty pump, and would need to be replaced.
Thats the emergency drain is for beside the filter.. if you don't have one your only option js to open the filter but have a shit ton of towels ready or if you can put a container under somehow, do that!
@@tiberiusclaudiusnerogermanicis 🤣 that’s what I did, pulled the main drainer hose off and flooded the floor! The only option I had. Got the drill bit out the filter and bobs ya uncle

Should there be a plastic ball in the sump hose where it connects to the drum? I’m assuming yes
We have a Bosch washer / dryer but only today the dryer is not drying our clothes could the ventilation hose be blocked ?
Any ideas why i keep getting scrud marks on clothes despite doing hot drum clean cycles?
