Thanks for this!! We were getting an F-18 error on our Constructa washing machine. Your instructions (draining the machine, and manually cleaning the filthy and blocked pump) totally did the trick. :)
Thxxx! Very clear, was 100% our issue. Without your perfect step by step we would have been at a loss. You saved us loads of cash! I do not understand why manufacturers cannot find a simple filter mechanism to prevent sticks etc to reach the drain pump

You Sir are a God sent! Thank you so much for your service to save us some dollars and make us feel accomplished! Now I am waiting to see if I have removed all blockages.
BOSCH WFT7930/02 TypeD5393B000 Fyi, I managed to reduce the diameter of the drain hose leading to the Siphon drum. Now it works but the drainage is slow.
I thought it was the 73 cents, 1 p and half a balloon in the filter that stopped my Bosch Maxx7 draining, but no, I needed your excellent tutorial to remove the pump where I found that 10 swiss cents is there perfect diameter to block the draining tube. It's all gone back together well, no leaks as yet! I've bought you a beer 😁
Thanks for the help. My Bosch washing machine coming up with E18 error. Normal fixes weren't working. Came here, took the pump apart, and there was a whole sock sitting in the waste pipe!!! Just running a wash now, fingers crossed clearing it has worked!

I have a serie 4 Vario perfect and there is access to the pump from underneath. Can I dropped the pump by removing the single screw holding the pump so I can disconnect the waste stand pipe without removing the front cover? The only problem with the machine is a blocked waste pipe.
Do u know is there meant to be a small hole on the left wherebthe drainage cap is,because there is on mine and it was not draining as I pushed this hole it worked again ,like the size of a penny was there I think
Hey :-) Your video is my favorite, you show and explain it very well. I`m trying to fix my Siemens Q700, but what surprised me are the strange screws under the machine, mine doesn't have them in the front. Well, I struggle with them.
How important is the pump motor plastic water cover? I followed your instructions and came to a small issue. The new motor makes the power connection in the front whereas my old one connected in the rear. There is now way the old one can fit. Do I really need it?

We have similar problem, cleared F 18 blockage, checked sump even, no blockage, but now at end of wash, it fails to flush drum of water, however when i turn machine off and select " empty " option the machine emptied, so im wondering is the fault due to the valve that keeps the water in the drum not operating during final flush of wash.not sure if a new Pump will resolve it.
Hi I open the circular little door on the bottom, lots of water came out with some fabrics as well… now it’s clean and the filter rotates fine , I also checked the hose (blow into it) and it looks like that it’s not blocked… But the machine still doesn’t drain the water… My washing machine is very clean and have no mold and so on also…
Hi. My pump has those 2 pipes for the hoses, and it has a smaller pipe not connected to anything. My mum says it could be a vent (a breather). when I poured bleach into the drain hose (from the end that is outside of the washing machine) to clean it, the bleach spilled out from bottom of the machine, from that corner, where the pump is. Could it be from that empty pipe? Or from where? On the next washing cycle, the machine didn't leak anything. btw the bleach worked perfectly for the soft stains inside the hose. I believe it was a foam that stayed there for years.
Great video. I did all that, installed 2 brand new Bosch original pumps but still not draining, even when the pump is connected to outside 220v ac supply, All pumps run with no or little amount of water in the barrel. With water visible in the barrel the pumps will not drain/propeller not rotating only oscillating back and forth, making a strange low noise. The propeller tries to turn but isn’t strong enough. Any ideas.?

Great video thanks. I have a Bosch series 8 WAW325H0GB/20. there was a leak and after removing the back panel i could see a piece of metal has pierced the sump hose. I have put a small clamp on it for now but need to order a new hose and not sure how different it is to remove the front panel. The slight difference is its all in one piece on the front. Any ideas where on Bosch replacement parts I can get the number or is it worth just phoning them. I'm more concerned where this metal has come from its about 10cm long 2mm thick, spring or pipe re informing support. Any help I would really be grateful thank you.

The drain pump will not unscrew more than 90 degrees, even with multiple twists and turns, WD40, and a wrench. What next? If I turn the machine on its back, will that help get the drain pump to unscrew, if something is blocking it?
You should remove the black inlet hose on the left (as you look at it). It most likely has an object in it that is preventing the screw cap from turning. There is a good video on it.
Hi could you help? I have a Bosch Maxx 6 washing machine (WAB28162GB). The machine won't drain water. I have taken off the front cap and there is no drain pipe? Do you know how I drain it?

WFT7930/02 FD 7506 00041. I reduced the diameter of the drain hose that leads to the syphon/vacuum caseand it works. it boils down that the pumps(genuine/brand new from the box) are not able to pump the water from the vaccum/sump line. does not make sense.
After resolving the F:18 problem-the fault code never came back. Our Bosch has now just stopped going into the rinse cycle and remains in a constant 'wash' cycle for infinity. Also, ( after manually draining the water out) it will neither or separately 'spin' 'drain' or 'rinse'. The rinse cycle had initially before this made some rough machine noises but never filled with water and assuming it detected the drum already had a quantity of water still remaining. The pump impeller appears to be okay. The question is what to do next?
We have similar problem, cleared F 18 blockage, checked sump even, no blockage, but now at end of wash, it fails to flush drum of water, however when i turn machine off and select " empty " option the machine emptied, so im wondering is the fault due to the valve that keeps the water in the drum
Mine went like this. And I ended up buying a new one. I had to manually turn knob to rinse and spin. It went very noisy like an aeroplanes taking off. Had Bosch Serie 4 as a new one and it is brilliant. Old Bosch was 17 years old

Sir. Stella vid. BUT, the pump was running..... now and then. When tested with a meter it was 220 ohms. Should be between 100 and 200 ohms. New pump. Bobs ya Uncle.

Hi there, the F16 error code on a Bosch washing machine typically indicates a problem with the door lock mechanism. This could be due to a problem with the door lock itself, the pin system on the door that fits into the lock, or possibly a wiring fault. Occasionally, though rarely, it might be an issue with the printed circuit board. Start by checking the door pin, the door lock mechanism, and the wiring. If everything seems fine, consider replacing the door lock as they are not too expensive and this might solve the problem.

How do I turn the buzzer of on my Bosch varioperfect washing machine
Hi
I open the circular little door on the bottom, lots of water came out with some fabrics as well… now it’s clean and the filter rotates fine , I also checked the hose (blow into it) and it looks like that it’s not blocked…

maybe the plumbing is blocked, outside the machine. But since it was a month ago, was it resolved?
Hi.

We have similar problem, cleared F 18 blockage, checked sump even, no blockage, but now at end of wash, it fails to flush drum of water, however when i turn machine off and select " empty " option the machine emptied, so im wondering is the fault due to the valve that keeps the water in the drum
hi did you find the fault my bosch doing the same thanks
Mine went like this. And I ended up buying a new one. I had to manually turn knob to rinse and spin. It went very noisy like an aeroplanes taking off. Had Bosch Serie 4 as a new one and it is brilliant. Old Bosch was 17 years old
Thank you.

What could be the problem
Hi there, the F16 error code on a Bosch washing machine typically indicates a problem with the door lock mechanism. This could be due to a problem with the door lock itself, the pin system on the door that fits into the lock, or possibly a wiring fault. Occasionally, though rarely, it might be an issue with the printed circuit board.
Start by checking the door pin, the door lock mechanism, and the wiring. If everything seems fine, consider replacing the door lock as they are not too expensive and this might solve the problem.
Since when has Sammy the bull been fixing washing machines?
No, this shit machine did not open the door again. Forget about Bosch machine. This is the third one that block the door I we cannot open it anymore.
I dont think i cam reach under the machine.
