I really don’t understand why this is a question. Why compare two people who are in two vastly different stages in their career? Steph is already well established and doesn’t have anything to prove while Luka does

Ceiling? It's Luka. Obviously. Because ceiling is what he could be, not where they are at now. And what we've seen from Luka is a potential top 10, maybe even a top 5 player (keep in mind we're talking ceiling, he could also not make the top 75). But right now he's not on Steph's level career wise, and it's stupid to compare a 34 year old to a 23 year old in terms of what their potential is. We know Stephs ceiling. It happened in 2015. Who knows what Luka could do.

As dubs fan I'm very aware of the greatness of Luka I personally think the Mavs can beat the dubs but I do think the dubs are really tuned up after facing the grizzlies I totally understand they didn't have Ja but if anyone watched the entire series the grizzlies became a defensive juggernaut after Ja got injured. So if the Mavs are playing shitty defense the warriors will feast on them. The warriors put a team effort on offensive and defense so I get Luka is unstoppable but are the Mavs as team unstoppable or will they need Luka to carry them which he is totally capable of. I think the warriors will win it but I do not underestimate the Mavs and there ability to beat the warriors. Anywho let's have a good injury free series best of luck to both teams, 🤜🤛😎

Good points made by both sides but to counter what SAS said towards the end...Steph got his help back so he doesnt need the ball as much, but if you look at last year when his team was injured, he had a high usage rate just like Luka.

Do they realize that Luka will be in his prime in 4-5 years ? We are talkin about a guy who's to young to realize that he has to work out more during the summer. He came into this season fat,yet look where he is in the end. First team all-nba and playing in the western conference finals as the best player left in the playoffs. Except lebron played défense and luka has no defensive presence. He’s more like prime James harden than lebron so the answer isn’t obvious. Offensively luka is great but defensively he’s been exposed over and over and is part of why his team is currently 0-3 down despite his offensive contributions.

Luka has the higher ceiling. Steph has already achieved his ceiling, while more championships will help pad his ceiling we know what he is capable of and in terms of skills and production I don't see him doing any more than he already has. Steph is the greatest long range shooter all time, a great PG, a great leader, a champion, etc.
Doncic however is just starting and already establishing himself. If he can just keep the same pace he is on for the next 10 years (he'll still be younger than Steph now) he would be cracking the top 5 of all time. If he can win some championships along the way and get better as a player than he will be top 3.
In terms of ceiling I would give it to Doncic.
