- In this video, I take a look at the steps to ensure sending your Cubase project to someone else includes all the audio files - a common problem is that they only send the project file, not all the assets!

It's ok so far, but the used project VST-effects and (if you use VST-instruments) the used VST instruments have to be available (installed) by the receiver on other end to play the song as it's original IMHO.

Can the Cubase Pro 12 backup file created on a Macbook Pro M1 be opened on a PC using Cubase 12 Pro?
Yes, providing the plugins are the same on both; the project file will move without issues (I do this all the time as I'm on both macOS and Windows).

It's "Oxygen" by the BeatSliders. Unfortunately the distribution partner we had has moved on, so none of the music is now available online - getting it re-released is on my "to do" list!
What if the person I'm sending my project session is using Pro Tools, does it still work?
Alas, no... There are some options, but they don't keep all the details from the Cubase project...
Do it also copy mixer effetcs
As long as the person you send it to has the same VST FX installed, then it will do. If they don't, then you'll get a warning when you load the project up, but it'll still work (just without the effect).
@@musictechtuition both of us using stock plugins I sent him Omf project but mixer was empty when i imported omf file😐
@@AmanXdeep That's why - you're sending it as an OMF. If you follow the instructions here, he'll get a .CPR project, which will be identical to the way it appears on your machine if you're both using stock plugins and the same version of Cubase.
