Bruhhh. You know a Great Teacher When They explain and break "Alleged" Complexities into Such Eloquently Easily Comprehensible Format. As a Producer and Sound Engineer Myself. I Referred a Student using Cubase as DAW to this Page Cos I've Never seen something so Easily Broken down to it Absorbable to a Novice in 22 minutes. Majestic Teaching Skills. Would have definitely been a Rabbi Back in the Day . ✍🏼🤙🏼
Thanks! Have watched a few EQ cubase tutorials. And honestly mate you've done a fantastic job. By far the easiest and comprehensive explanation I've seen. Well done I'm just trying to record classical guitar and have Cubase elements. Again thanks heaps.
Great to find out I have EQ presets, because EQing myself still seems too difficult!. Now I am getting slowly used to the idea that one day I will be able to do it myself; Thanks!!👌
Super helpful thanks for sharing. I have cubase elements, it looks as if the bass/guitar EQ instrument comparison is not available in elements package though. But I’ll get around that. 😊
I often use the pre-filter in the channel strip for cutting. It also has a low/hi cut filter with a much steeper slope. Is there anything wrong with not using the pre-filter?
Thanks for the tutorial. 😀 I have used mainly the strip eq in my recordings using elements 11. I have looked at the studio eq but wasn’t sure of any advantages using it. Which would you recommend for eq acoustic guitars? I tend to use the low cut filter and sweep the low end to remove the rumble and sweep the high end with high cut. The mid ranges are more tricky trying to find the harsh frequencies and cut them. I also generally use the tube compression as well on many tracks as it adds warmth.
When I click on the reset button in the EQ things stay the same and I don't go back to default. Do you know how I can fix this? Thanks for the great video!
Anyone have issues with trying to edit the small eq window from the start but it will only enlarge? I can't edit it in the tiny window which is really useful?

Exactly how I needed it to be explained. Thanks 👍
Just what I was looking for. Great job! 🙂
